Former national football manager Milou's brother: the first man in the Champions League Golden Boot, the first foreign aid in Bayern's history

Looking back at the Qatar World Cup draw ceremony, a familiar face appeared in front of people's eyes, Bora Milutinovic, an old acquaintance of Chinese fans, as the only meritorious coach who led the national football team to the World Cup, and the magical manager who helped Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States and Nigeria realize their dreams of the World Cup, the word "legend" is not an exaggeration. There is no doubt that Milou is a successful manager, and as a player, the other "Milou" is even more famous.

"I'm an accomplished athlete and Bora (Milou) is an accomplished coach. If we're still on the football pitch, I'm going to follow him. Speaking about his brother's coaching career, Milu's brother, Milos Milutinovic, said. As a world-famous coach, Milu did not rise to prominence until middle age, but was a late bloomer compared to his brother, as early as the 1955-1956 Champions League (then called the European Champions Cup), Milos completed the feat of four games and eight goals, winning the first golden boot in the history of the Champions League.

"Football dream" under fire

In 1938, when Europe was in turmoil, Hitler extended his claws to the Soudet, a Germanic colony in Slovak. And just as the territory of the "Third Reich" was spreading, Britain and France repeatedly regressed, following a policy of ignorant appeasement, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and French Prime Minister Dara gave the Sudetenland as a generous gift to their feared enemies, and soon after Chamberlain flew back to London and waved the "peace declaration" to the British masses, the Germans swallowed the whole of Czechoslovakia with their greedy mouths, and the entire Eastern Europe was cast in a gray shadow.

With the frequent victories on the Western Front, Nazi Germany turned its guns, and Yugoslavia rained bullets, and there was no grass in an instant. After 11 days of resistance, the Yugoslavs, who had decided to lose, laid down their arms.

After three years of turbulence, the opening of the second battlefield and the counteroffensive of the Soviet army, Hitler and his Third Reich were left on the line, and it was in this spring season that the Yugoslav People's Army issued its final roar to the invaders, and Milu's father died heroically in the battle to defend the country.

When his father died for justice, Milu had not yet been born into the world, and he had never seen his father in his face. At the same time, this year, Milu's eldest brother Milos was 11 years old, and the pain of losing his father, planting the fire of battle in Milos' young heart, killing enemies and avenging his father in battle, was Minos's biggest and only wish.

Unfortunately, fortunately, before Milos became an adult, the flames of war were extinguished. And when life returns to calm, the Milu family faces the problem of surviving the ruins. Milos is the eldest son in the family with an older sister, Milu is the third child, and he has an older brother named Milorade.

His father died, and his mother contracted tuberculosis due to excessive grief and environmental pollution, and died soon after. Orphaned, Milu's family had to go to their aunt, a middle-aged woman who ran a bakery to make ends meet, was financially not well-off, could barely meet her daily needs, and as for education, she could not afford the burden of four children.

The future of the Milo family often lingered in Milos's mind, perhaps by God's favor, and at the age of 15, Minos discovered his innate football talent and determined to become a professional footballer. Unlike children who grew up in peacetime, to be precise, Milos initially saw football not as a dream, but more as the only way to support himself and his siblings.

In 1948, Milos went to his hometown team FK Bol for a trial, and unsurprisingly passed the examination and signed his first professional contract. Milos was only 15 at the time, and when the staff asked him how old he was, he lied that he was 17.

In FK Bor, Minoan performed quite well, and the Yugoslav "authoritative" team Partizan Belgrade noticed this unusual genius, and the reason why the partisans are "authoritative" is because this team belongs to the Yugoslav People's Army, in a world where football is completely isolated from capital, having an official background is like today's billions.

In fact, it was not only the partisans who took pity on Milos, but suitors spread throughout Yugoslavia. Considering the need to provide for his family, although there are many options in front of him, for Milos, who urgently needs an "iron rice bowl", guerrilla Belgrade is the only choice without thinking.

In 1952, under the attention of everyone, Milos officially joined the Belgrade Partizan team, and the 8-year-old Milou followed his brother to this domestic "giant", and since then he has become a die-hard fan of the partisan team and felt the charm of football for the first time.

The first man in the "Champions League" Golden Boot

The war faded, football returned to its original clarity, but due to the lack of an international stage, the club can only play on the domestic stage, in order to promote football cultural exchanges between countries, the founder of the European Footballer of the Year award, Gabriel Jeanneau, for the first time proposed the blueprint of European competition. However, due to the indifference of FIFA and UEFA, it was not until 1954, with the support of Real Madrid, Anderlecht, Vienna Fast and other teams, that the blueprint took shape.

The 1955-1956 European Champions Cup came to history, coinciding with the peak of Milos and his Partizan Belgrade.

In the 50s of the last century, Milos was like a god in the Yugoslav league, single-handedly leading the partisans to win the Yugoslav Cup three times. With the aura of national champions on their heads, Milos and his teammates excitedly stepped out of the country to embark on the European competition that all Europeans have longed for.

In the first leg, the opponent of the Partizan team was the giants of the Iberian Peninsula Portuguese Sport, the first leg of the match drew 3-3, back at home, Milos freely appeared on his own stage, opened the performance moment, he scored four goals, the strength of the unsolvable strength made the opponent's strong defense collapse, and finally the Partiza successfully passed the 8-5 aggregate score.

In the quarterfinals, the Partizans faced an unprecedented test against the mighty Real Madrid. Even though his strength was clearly on the definite, Milos was the protagonist of the game, single-handedly and fearlessly, scoring twice in less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, both brilliant goals were ruthlessly taken away by the referee on duty.

The controversial penalty frustrated the confidence of the Partizans, while Real Madrid, who occupied the right place, were relieved to score four goals in a row. Despite the unconvincing results, the Real Madrid players acted as victors with impunity.

Fighting again, the guerrillas who returned to the home stadium launched a fierce attack on the strong enemy with a rage, the number one star Milos took the lead, without the referee's calculation, Milos step by step, like his father despite the German artillery fire, in the face of the Spaniard's arrogance and UEFA prejudice, Milos is like a sword of justice, straight to the enemy's lifeline.

The final whistle blew and the Partizan won 3-0, and although Milos and his team failed to qualify, the beating of Real Madrid and "punching" UEFA in the face was enough to spit out the bad breath in the chest. What makes UEFA scratch its ears is that Milos scored 8 goals in this European Champions Cup and won the golden boot undisputedly, not to mention, this is the first golden boot in the history of European competition, and it is a golden boot destined to go down in history.

After a bumpy journey

Shining in Europe, the 23-year-old is at the top of his career and, like most players in the non-Big Five, is eager to reach the next level and reach the top stage of world football. Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have made an offer to the Yugoslav star.

However, since Yugoslav football has not yet been professionalized or even commercialized, it is simply a huge difficulty for a "player in the system" to leave, change jobs, and promote. The Yugoslav Football Association also has such a clear rule, only players who are over 28 years old are allowed to play abroad. For Milos, whose wings are already full, but he has been unable to break free of the cage, the five-year wait is as hopeless as looking forward to the afterlife.

Determined to pursue his dreams, Milos fell out with the Partisans and the Yugoslav Football Association, and when he strongly raised the irrationality of the rules, the embarrassed Yugoslav Football Association asserted that even if he turned 28, he would not be allowed to transfer to foreign teams.

Desperate, Milos had to break the cauldron, he did not hesitate to be removed from the Yugoslav national team, and resolutely terminated the contract with the partisans. Even if you start from scratch, you must continue to move forward on the road to chasing your dreams.

Unfortunately, just as Milos was packing his bags and looking forward to his upcoming trip, tuberculosis, the "devil" who took his mother's life, came uninvited. After falling ill, Minos' physical condition took a sharp turn for the worse, and he suddenly lost his breath on the court more than once. Fortunately, the sincere Bayern gave Minos meticulous care, they did not mind Minos' condition, and assured him that as soon as he came to Munich, the club would hire a top doctor for him and cover all the costs.

In this way, Milos embarked on a trip to the ocean without risk, becoming the first foreign aid in the history of Bayern Munich.

On January 28, 2003, Milos ended his legendary life at the age of 69. When the war broke out in Kovoso, Milu, who was teaching abroad, proposed to take his brother with him, but Milos refused his brother's proposal. After retiring from football, he has been coaching in the country and has dedicated his life to football.
