With the development of the mobile Internet, online fraud crimes are more hidden, intelligent, and diversified, and the common types of high-incidence fraud are:
Fraud of part-time billing, online loan fraud, impersonation of customer service refund fraud, investment and financial management fraud, fake shopping service fraud, "pig killing" fraud, impersonation of leaders familiar human fraud, impersonation of "public security law" fraud, online game false transaction fraud, cancellation of loan credit card fraud...
These fraudulent acts seriously affect the legitimate rights and interests of WeChat users and damage the ecological environment of the platform. For a long time, WeChat has continued to pay close attention to, resolutely deal with and crack down on all kinds of fraud that occurs on the platform.
In accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, the Tencent WeChat Software License and Service Agreement and the WeChat Personal Account Use Specification, after verifying the evidence submitted by user complaints, WeChat will carry out stepwise treatment such as functional restrictions and account bans for accounts confirmed to have fraudulent behavior, depending on the degree of violation; Freezing of payment accounts that have been confirmed as fraudulent, etc.
Since 2023, WeChat has stepped through a total of 35,312 accounts confirmed to have fraudulent; 10,896 WeChat groups confirmed to have fraudulent behavior were treated with the restricted group function (group blocking).
WeChat said that it will strengthen the handling of online fraud in the future. At the same time, the platform will cooperate with the public security organs to carry out relevant work in accordance with the law to further crack down on evil gangs.

2. When encountering various security tips issued by WeChat, raise vigilance and awareness of prevention, do not easily transfer money, remittance, and do not easily disclose personal information.
3. Do not scan QR codes that you do not understand, do not click unknown links at will, do not download and install APP from unknown sources, do not easily disclose your various passwords and SMS verification codes, and do not easily open the mobile phone and computer screen sharing function for strangers.

WeChat said that once the account that uses WeChat to commit fraudulent acts is confirmed, the illegal account will be punished gradedly until it is suspended, and the review results will be fed back to the complaining user.
