Reddit forum user gameningleaksandrumours reported that Resident Evil 3: Remake has seen multiple updates on the Steam database over the past few months, but it's unclear what it changes and no obvious content has been added to the game.
A Reddit user named DeadByDaylight94 edited all of the game's latest updates, one of which occurred two months ago and several of which were made daily last week. While the first update didn't get much attention, the recent ongoing updates have left fans wondering what it might be.
Previously, there were rumors on Reddit that the "Nemesis Edition" of Resident Evil 3: Remake was under development, which would be an updated version of the game, adding a clock tower and some of the things missing from the original version. Previously this was considered wild, but recent updates have allowed this rumor to come back.
One possibility is that Capcom added some Easter eggs similar to Resident Evil 4: Remake. Resident Evil 2: Remake does the same, so so the game could too.
Another idea is that Capcom is working on a new version of the game with updated lights and models. This seems like the most plausible of all guesses, but it's still odd to find something like this in the Steam database.
Perhaps the most boring thing is that the developer simply adjusts the game background and fixes the glitch. This seems unlikely after some time of the game's release, or it happened every day in the last week.
