Regarding the inspiration for this season, Creative Director Nicky Zimmermann said:
"This autumn I was inspired by the Australian artist Rupert Bunny of the last century to indulge in the use of colour and romanticism in his work – a gentle and dreamy natural scene. His creations exude a warm and optimistic charm, and the overall atmosphere of the collection is influenced by this art style. We were fortunate to work with the National Gallery of Victoria to produce key prints on some of Bunny's paintings. ”
Lazy, bright and pleasing to the eye. Walking through the cloakroom full of romantic looks, heavy textures and casual pieces, the presence of recognizable denim fabrics and silhouette cuts makes this stroll new.
Artist Rupert Bunny's pastoral songs are staged over flowing skirts and pleated dresses, featuring sexy slip dresses, lace jumpsuits and sheer fabrics. Deep mustard, light lilac purple and elegant off-white outline the warm brown tones of tenderness and sweetness. Multi-layered tweed, smooth leather and cosy wool fabrics subtly shape Zimmermann's signature exaggerated proportions and voluminous silhouette. The wide-shouldered suit and heavy-duty coat contrast with the fitted bodice and wool bandeau.
Denim elements light up the relaxed and casual atmosphere. Aquamarine pipe pants are paired with lightweight shirt skirts, washed jeans mixed with miniskirts or pink frilled lace knits for a chic vintage feel. A double-breasted jacket and embroidered cowboy boots complete the denim look.
A variety of simple and elegant little black dresses are the perfect choice for evening dresses. Cream lace off-the-shoulder top, gorgeous velvet tight long skirt, half unrestrained and passionate, half restrained and restrained. Filigree thread, semi-sheer prints and striking opal gold accents sparkle in black. Follow the glorious guidance and sway.
