Last weekend, the 2021 Shanghai Plastic Surgery Week Scar Study Class/Forum was successfully concluded. Professor Liu Wei, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, pointed out that keloids are not simple skin diseases, but may be manifestations of systemic diseases in the skin; We should look at keloids dialectically from a philosophical point of view, and in the future, we should get rid of the thinking confinement of single local treatment, whole-body treatment plus local treatment, and comprehensive treatment.
