CCTV News: Since its official opening to the public in early July 2022, the Hong Kong Palace Museum has become a "new landmark" of Hong Kong culture. During the "May Day" period, it attracts a large number of tourists to stop and linger.
From 29 April to 1 May, the Hong Kong Palace Museum received more than 20,000 visitors. Among them, nearly 7,300 people entered on April 30, a new number of visitors in a single day since it officially opened to the public last year.
Since its opening on 3 July 2022, the Hong Kong Palace Museum has been visited by nearly 1.1 million people. The large number of visitors reflects the attention and love of tourists for the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
Many visitors said that they can see cultural relics from the Palace Museum up close and appreciate the beauty of Chinese culture.
