This atlas is a portrait of a bird taken by female photographer Leila Jeffreys. The simple and bright set, the elegant "bird posture", and the colorful feathers simply shoot the "popularity"! The different shapes of the expressions can give a glimpse of the different personalities of these birds: or solemn, or serious, or cunning, or lively...
As a photographer as a child, she was exposed to a lot of animals. "I see them as creatures of the same kind as me and have a deep relationship with them." She wants to remind everyone through these images that these little creatures share this planet with us, that they are like us running for food and livelihood every day, raising their children, defending their territory, playing and singing, and that it is our responsibility to let them have a wild home.
Brilliant blue slender-tailed wren warbler. This bird is found in the outback and west of Australia and is only 14 cm long. The glow blue-tailed warbler is grey in females and blue in males. So it's just male! In addition, do you know this "wren" word?
Chestnut eagle. (What does the editor want to ask is what does this word pronounce?) )
It's pretending to be dead!
Black Kite. It is a medium-sized bird of prey. It just looks serious.
Slightly cute little squid owl. The bird is mainly found in Australia and New Zealand and its nearby islands.
Fruit dove. This feather is beautiful!
A touch of red.
"Am I cute or not".
New Guinea pigeon.
Green-backed golden dove. Its natural habitat is montane forests below 2000 m, especially broad-leaved forests.
owl. This is the most familiar bird (with his eyes closed for Mao).
Long-billed cockatoo.
The palm cockatoo's hairstyle is too cool. Presumably it was cried by its own handsomeness.
