On February 23, 1940, after five days and five nights of persisting in the Maojiang Mountains, Yang Jingyu, a national hero of the Anti-Japanese War, was unfortunately surrounded by the enemy and died heroically.
After Yang Jingyu's sacrifice, the fierce and vicious Japanese did not give up, they not only cut off Yang Jingyu's head, but also openly cut open his body, and the Japanese Ryuichiro Kishitani, who was then the director of the police department of tonghua Province in puppet Manchukuo, witnessed this scene with his own eyes.
But when Kishitani Ryuichiro saw that Yang Jingyu's stomach was full of grass roots, bark and cotton wool, he was stunned for a moment, and then exclaimed: "Although he is an enemy, he also sighs when he sees his grandeur: Great hero!" ”
Yang Jingyu can be said to be the number one confidant of the Japanese Kwantung Army, so Kishitani Ryuichiro was also constantly promoted for participating in the round-up of Yang Jingyu's "meritorious service", and finally jumped from the position of director of a district police department to an important position equivalent to vice governor.

However, such a heinous Japanese officer felt utter despair on the eve of the defeat in the invasion of China, so much so that he personally poisoned his wife and children with poison, and after leaving a suicide note, he committed suicide by caesarean section.
What exactly did General Yang Jingyu go through before he died? How did the Japanese find his tracks? And why did Kishitani Takaichiro commit suicide by caesarean section? After Yang Jingyu's sacrifice, how was his body found?
Regarding Kishitani Ryuichiro's suicide, we must also start from yang Jingyu's participation in the revolution.

Yang Jingyu, whose original name was Ma Shangde, was born in February 1905 to a poor peasant family in Dawan Village, Qishan County, Henan Province, and "Yang Jingyu" was a pseudonym he used during the Anti-League.
When he was five years old, his father became ill and died of illness, and he could only grow up under the care of his mother, and from an early age, he was oppressed by the landlord and suffered a lot.
Fortunately, Yang Jingyu's mother Zhang Jun was very open and knew the importance of education, so she saved money for Yang Jingyu to study, and Yang Jingyu did not live up to her mother's expectations, studying very hard, in 1923, he was admitted to the Henan Provincial Textile and Dyeing Industrial School with excellent results.
During his studies here, Yang Jingyu, who was full of flesh and blood, met his teacher He Guangwu, who was a member of the Communist Party, and under his influence, Yang Jingyu came into contact with Marxism, read the Communist Manifesto and other works, and soon embarked on the road of revolution.

After graduation, Yang Jingyu returned to Qishan County under the assignment of the organization, he judged the hour and sized up the situation, actively cracked down on the local tyrants and inferior gentry, and after fully examining the people's feelings, led the peasants to launch the Qishan Rebellion and established the first formal revolutionary armed force of our party in Henan.
In 1927, Chiang Kai-shek and Wang Jingwei rebelled against the revolution one after another, the Northern Expedition ended in failure, the warlord forces in Qishan County made a comeback again, and local reactionary militia groups also began to persecute the peasants, and the situation was very grim.
Yang Jingyu naturally became the focus of the reactionaries because he was very active, and for this reason, he often led the guerrillas around to fight the enemy, and in one battle, his left leg was hit by a bullet and unfortunately injured, but due to the lack of medical treatment, his recovery was very slow.
But even so, Yang Jingyu did not give up the battle, he firmly believed that the revolution would succeed sooner or later, and after a few months of perseverance, according to the organizational arrangement, he became one of the party members and cadres selected to the Soviet Union.
On the evening of March 28, 1928, Yang Jingyu sneaked back to his home, tearfully said goodbye to his wife, children, and mother, and then turned around and left without turning his head, and the family was very supportive of his decision.
Yang Jingyu began to go all the way north, after more than a month of running, he finally arrived in Fushun, he was ready to take a boat from here to Vladivostok, and then take a train directly to Moscow, because of the need to go abroad to go through various related procedures, Yang Jingyu lived in Lushun for a while.
Since joining the revolution, Yang Jingyu has been working all the time, and with firm faith, he feels that idleness is a waste of life, so, while waiting for the formalities to come down, he took the initiative to participate in some of the underground work of our party in Lushun.
Unexpectedly, not long after working here, Yang Jingyu became a backbone member of the Lushun party organization with rich experience and excellent leadership ability, and the organization took into account the lack of party members and cadres in the northeast, so after listening to his opinion, he cancelled the plan to go to the Soviet Union, so Yang Jingyu stayed in the northeast to participate in the work.
After the outbreak of the September 18 Incident, the situation in the northeast became more and more severe, at this time Yang Jingyu has become the commander-in-chief and political commissar of the First Route Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Democratic Coalition Army, in order to realize the desire of anti-Japanese resistance to save the country and stabilize the world, he officially renamed himself "Yang Jingyu", and since then, this name has resounded in the northeast.
Anti-Coalition fighters
Yang Jingyu took into account the strength of the Japanese Kwantung Army, so he took the initiative to lead his troops to adopt the method of mobile warfare in the vast southern Manchuria region to avoid the real and attack the virtual, and to negotiate with the Japanese Kou, and in a few years, many enemies were eliminated, which made the Japanese puppet army feel frightened, and the Japanese Kwantung Army Headquarters even offered a reward of 10,000 yuan to Yang Jingyu's head, but he could not find any trace of him.
However, at the beginning of 1940, because of the betrayal of traitors, Yang Jingyu, who was active in the Maojiang area, was surrounded by heavy Japanese puppet troops, at this time Yang Jingyu was not with the main force, and there were only more than 200 people around him.
On January 6, Yang Jingyu's troops encountered several advancing teams of the Japanese Kou, and a fierce battle broke out, due to the enemy's outnumbered and the losses of the team were very large, in order to preserve the living strength, Yang Jingyu decided to let the various parts of his men disperse and break through, while he led the guard platoon to stay in place to cover the retreat of the main force.
After the enemy's repeated onslaughts, when Yang Jingyu left the battle, there were only 15 fighters left beside him, he led the fighters to wander in the Mengjiang Mountains, trying to get rid of the enemy's pursuit, and soon the Japanese puppet army lost the trace of Yang Jingyu, only knowing that he was in the mountains, but not knowing his specific location.

By February 15, Yang Jingyu had only two warriors left by his side, and the food had been exhausted, but he was still not discouraged, but continued to lead them to fight the enemy.
After determining that they were temporarily safe, Yang Jingyu ordered the remaining two fighters to take some cash and their own seals, leave the lurking area and go to the nearby tunzi to buy some grain from the villagers, but they did not expect to be discovered by the local pseudo-police defense team and the secret service search squad shortly after descending the mountain, and finally died heroically because they were outnumbered.
Yang Jingyu found that his comrades had not yet returned after waiting for more than half a day, so he already had a bad premonition, so he left the same place and changed places to lurk again, and the enemy never found any trace of him.
However, after all, the body is not iron, Yang Jingyu with tenacious will in the mountains after five days of food shortage life, finally can not bear the hunger, he decided to personally go out to find some food.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="30" > "the skull can be severed and dissected</h1>
On the afternoon of February 22, Yang Jingyu met a local villager named Zhao Tingxi on his way down the mountain, Yang Jingyu saw that he was a Chinese, thinking that he should be able to help him find some food, so he took the initiative to tell him his identity and asked him for help.
Although Zhao Tingxi served as the pseudo-village chief, he also admired Yang Jingyu's heroic deeds, and he did not expect to see Yang Jingyu in person, his heart was very excited, when he saw Yang Jingyu hungry and did not seem to have much strength, Zhao Tingxi also could not bear it.
Therefore, he persuaded Yang Jingyu: "Looking at your appearance, you can't hold out for long, you should still surrender, now 'Manchukuo' does not kill those who surrender." ”
Yang Jingyu took a careful look at Zhao Tingxi and found that he didn't look like a bad person, so he said in a calm tone: "I am Chinese, I can't do such a thing, if we Chinese surrender, we will be finished in China." ”
Zhao Tingxi no longer spoke after listening, he decided to go back to Tunli to help Yang Jingyu get some food, and asked Yang Jingyu to stay where he was and not to move, Yang Jingyu looked at him again, did not speak, and agreed.
However, just as Zhao Tingxi was on his way back to Tunzi, he encountered the hardcore traitor Li Zhengxin, and Zhao Tingxi, who was already very panicked, saw this agent and his legs actually shook, which immediately aroused Li Zhengxin's vigilance.
Seeing that Li Zhengxin stared at Zhao Tingxi viciously and asked him the reason for the panic, Zhao Tingxi was even more frightened and did not say a word for a while, but under Li Zhengxin's repeated questioning, he still did not stick to his bottom line, and gave Yang Jingyu a complete account of the matter of helping Yang Jingyu take grain, and also informed Li Zhengxin of the location where Yang Jingyu was hiding.
Li Zhengxin was very excited after hearing this, he did not expect that there would be such a big unexpected gain, he felt that this was a perfect opportunity to promote officials and get rich, so he rushed to the pseudo-police station in Tunli with Zhao Tingxi, and soon the news reached the ears of Kishitani Ryuichiro, who was then the director of the police department of the tonghua province of puppet Manchukuo, and the Japanese police officer Zositani of the pseudo-police headquarters of Maojiang County, and both of them were very happy.
Nishitani felt that this was an opportunity for promotion, so at three o'clock in the afternoon of the next day, dozens of agents and traitors led by the police station went to Yang Jingyu's hiding place under the leadership of Zhao Tingxi, and the Japanese puppet army sent by Kishitani Ryuichiro also rushed here soon after.
Sure enough, at 4 p.m., the enemy led by Nishitani found Yang Jingyu's figure near the 703 Heights of Sandaozi in Maojiang County, and Nishitani was very excited, and he immediately ordered his men not to shoot, but to catch them alive.
When Yang Jingyu found that the enemy was surrounded, he did not panic in the slightest, and showed great composure, while shooting at the enemy with two pistols, while retreating to the rear with all his strength, and Nishitani also admired his performance.
But there were too many enemies, and at this time, Yang Jingyu had been hungry for five days, and his movements had become very slow, and he was no longer able to get rid of the enemy's pursuit this time, and in the end, Yang Jingyu was exhausted and surrounded by the Japanese behind a small slope.
Xi Gu shouted at Yang Jingyu, "Yang, your life matters, resistance is useless, surrender quickly!" ”
Yang Jingyu smiled dumbly, he knew that he had no chance to escape, so he immediately stood up and roared at the enemy: "My subordinates have all been sacrificed, how can I live alone, it is useless to say more, shoot, I will fight to the end!" With that, he took up his pistol and shot at the enemy.
Seeing that the persuasion was fruitless, Nishitani ordered the crowd to shoot at Yang Jingyu, who was shot several times in his body and fell in a pool of blood, only 35 years old, and the traitor sent by Kishitani Ryuichiro arrived at the scene and confirmed Yang Jingyu's identity.
After Yang Jingyu's sacrifice, in order to strike at the anti-Japanese morale of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation and the people, the Japanese Kou cut off Yang Jingyu's head, paraded through the streets to show the public, and even specially let people take a number of photos and scatter them in planes all over the northeast.
In order to satisfy his curiosity, Kishitani Ryuichiro actually ordered someone to cut open Yang Jingyu's body and witnessed the entire process of dissection, so he had the exclamation mentioned in the opening paragraph.
Subsequently, Yang Jingyu's body was transported to Xinjing, the capital of puppet Manchukuo, where it was filled with anti-corrosion liquid by the Japanese army and kept in the political department of the puppet Manchu army, while his body was first abandoned in the wilderness and later buried by the Japanese army.
It turned out that Vice Admiral Nobu Changde of the Japanese Kwantung Army, who was in charge of commanding the encirclement and suppression of Yang Jingyu at that time, actually felt headaches every day after Yang Jingyu's sacrifice, and often had nightmares at night, dreaming that Yang Jingyu was pinching his neck and asking for a human head.
Ye Vice Changde was very panicked, and he quickly found a Chinese Taoist fortune teller, who said that in order to solve the disaster, Yang Jingyu's body must be buried thickly, so the Japanese army would find his body again, not their conscience.
Contrary to the expectations of the Japanese puppet army, Yang Jingyu's sacrifice did not cause panic in the Northeast Anti-Japanese Democratic Coalition Army, but made the soldiers indignant.
From March 2 to 6, 1940 alone, in just five days, the fighters of the First Route Army of the Anti-Japanese Coalition launched three desperate attacks on the Japanese puppet army in the southern Manchuria region, which made the enemy dizzy for a while.
Because of his "meritorious service" in participating in the round-up of Yang Jingyu, Kishitani Ryuichiro was promoted to vice minister (vice governor) of Tonghua Province soon after, and then successively served as the vice minister of Rehe Province, the vice minister of Shanxi Province, and other senior officials of the Japanese puppet regime.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="54" > heroic blade</h1>
Since the sacrifice of Yang Jingyu, Kogishiya Takaichiro's heart has been full of reverence for Yang Jingyu, and according to relevant historical records, when he saw yang Jingyu's stomach full of cotton wool, grass roots and bark, the whole person was "silent, and within a day, he was much older."
Kishitani Ryuichiro could not imagine how Yang Jingyu could swallow these things in any way, and since then, he has devoted his life to studying the psychology of Chinese anti-Japanese soldiers, and as the research deepens, his inner torment continues to deepen.
Finally, at the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Kishitani Ryuichiro came to a conclusion: "It may not be appropriate for His Majesty the Emperor to launch this war of aggression against China." China has a predatory soldier like Yang Jingyu, and it will certainly not perish. Although at this time, he may still not understand the military soul of the Chinese soldiers.
At this moment, Kishitani Ryuichiro's heart was full of despair, and with the defeat of the Japanese army in the Pacific Theater and the Northeast Theater (after the Soviet Union sent troops to the Northeast), the despair was further deepened, and he decided to die because he could not stand it.
On the eve of Japan's defeat, the fierce Kishitani Ryuichiro first poisoned his wife and children with potassium hydride, and then wrote a will with a pen, recording the results of his research over the years, including his conclusions.
After all the aftermath of his life, Kishitani Ryuichiro immediately grabbed a samurai sword in both hands and committed suicide by cutting himself off, ending his sinful life.
It is worth mentioning that Yang Jingyu's combat experience is very rich, and it is impossible to find his traces in a short period of time just by relying on the search and arrest of the Japanese puppet army, and Yang Jingyu's murder is inseparable from the help of some traitors.
In addition to Zhao Tingxi, who had exposed Yang Jingyu's whereabouts by informing the enemy, there were also some traitors who were willing to be Japanese lackeys, such as Cheng Bin, former commander of the First Division of the First Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League, Zhang Xiufeng, former commander of the guard platoon of Yang Jingyu's headquarters, and Zhang Xiruo, a machine gun shooter who defected with Cheng Bin, all three of whom had a lot to do with Yang Jingyu's sacrifice.
Cheng Bin was Yang Jingyu's most trusted and most effective assistant, and in the early days of the establishment of the Anti-Japanese League, he followed Yang Jingyu to eliminate many Japanese puppet armies, and was known as "Little Yang Jingyu" in the army, and later because he could not stand the hardships of guerrilla life, he led Zhang Xiruo and more than 100 other Anti-Coalition fighters to defect to the enemy in July 1938.
Cheng Bin, as one of the important military commanders of the Anti-Japanese Alliance, was very familiar with Yang Jingyu's signs of action and combat methods, and with his help, the Japanese puppet army eliminated many anti-coalition fighters and also locked Yang Jingyu in the Maojiang area at that time.
After Yang Jingyu's death, Xigu, who commanded the round-up of Yang Jingyu, was actually unable to confirm Yang Jingyu's identity for a while, and After Cheng Bin arrived, he immediately confirmed to Xigu that it was Yang Jingyu who was killed by the bullet.
In addition, Cheng Bin also followed Kishitani Ryuichiro to do many evil deeds in the Rehe and Shanxi areas, and after the victory of the War of Resistance, he took the initiative to join the Kuomintang army and continued to brutalize our party cadres.
Until April 28, 1951, Cheng Bin was successfully arrested by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, and soon after was sentenced to death by the court, executed immediately, and finally received a just trial.
Zhang Xiufeng, the guard platoon leader, can be said to be Yang Jingyu's closest person besides his family, because he was living alone on the street when he was 15 years old, and Yang Jingyu personally raised him as an adult and took him to participate in the anti-Japanese resistance.
However, Zhang Xiufeng, instead of knowing how to repay the favor, defected to the enemy because of his own selfish desires, and the time of surrender to the enemy happened precisely when Yang Jingyu was surrounded by heavy enemies, and he immediately told the Japanese army about Yang Jingyu's whereabouts after surrendering to the enemy, which led to Yang Jingyu being continuously attacked by the enemy when he got rid of the siege.
Zhang Xiufeng
The only thing Zhang Xiufeng found in his conscience was that some of the soldiers in his guard platoon did not suddenly turn around and attack Yang Jingyu when they defected, which was also the key to prompting him to escape punishment in the future.
The crime of the shooter Zhang Xiruo was even more intuitive, and the bullet that hit Yang Jingyu's key point was fired by himself, but he was not ashamed, and even in the following period of time, everyone said that he had "merit" in killing Yang Jingyu with a machine gun.
After liberation, Zhang Xiruo was afraid that his behavior would be exposed by the masses, so he ran to the countryside and hid, although he was later recognized by some veteran fighters of the Anti-Japanese League, but because the incident had occurred for a long time, the fighters could not produce direct and effective evidence, and Zhang Xiruo's trial was not over.
As for Zhao Tingxi, a villager who directly betrayed Yang Jingyu, after returning to Tunli, he was deeply hated by the villagers, and he had to take the 30 yuan rewarded by the Japanese army to his name and leave his hometown.
Six years later, Zhao Tingxi was captured by villagers on his return to his hometown and handed over to the government, and in 1946, the people's government shot Zhao Tingxi in front of the tomb of General Yang Jingyu.

In October 1948, on the eve of the liberation of Changchun, underground CCP members infiltrated the Changchun Medical College, from which they found and safely retrieved the remains of General Yang Jingyu, and were escorted by PLA soldiers to Harbin and placed in the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Guo Moruo came here specifically to pay homage, and immediately gave a poem to mourn General Yang Jingyu, which said: "The head can be severed and dissected. Artemisia annua of green blood is two thousand years old, and now the Red Banner is full of mountains and rivers. ”
On February 23, 1958, the eighteenth anniversary of the death of General Yang Jingyu, the Central People's Government, with the consent of Yang Jingyu's family, buried his remains and body together in the Tonghua Yang Jingyu Martyrs Cemetery, so that the body of General Yang Jingyu was buried together intact.
Counting only from the beginning of the September 18 Incident, during the 14-year-long War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in China, a large number of national heroes like Yang Jingyu emerged, who were not afraid of death or cherished life in the struggle against the Japanese Kou, but had long put life and death aside for the sake of the survival of the country.
Yang Jingyu Martyrs Monument
The patriotic spirit cultivated by China's thousands of years of excellent traditional culture has long been rooted in their hearts, and for this reason, they know that the enemy is strong and we are weak, but they still go forward to follow, knowing that moths must also burn the plains with their bodies, which Kishitani Ryuichiro, as a Japanese, will never and cannot understand.
Just this article to pay high tribute to General Yang Jingyu and the countless national heroes who gave their precious lives for the War of Resistance Against Japan!
