After Toyotomi Hideyoshi's death, the top of the pyramid of the Toyotomi regime was Lady Yododen and the young Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Ishida Sansei, who had loyally assisted the Toyotomi regime, was beheaded in defeat at the Battle of Sekigahara. After the Battle of Sekigahara, Hideyoshi's old courtier Kataki Moto and Lady Yododen's close courtiers assisted Toyotomi Hideyoshi's mother and son.
The representative figure who talks about Lady Yododen is Osamu Ono. Compared to Ishida Sansei, Osamu Ohno is not well known, but Osamu Ohno's mother is Lady Yododen's wet nurse. Coupled with the fact that Osamu Ohno and Lady Yododen were born in the same year, the two were both master-servant relations, and from another aspect, they could be regarded as the relationship of green plum bamboo horses. Probably for this reason, there is a theory that Toyotomi Hideyoshi's biological father was not Hideyoshi, but Ōno Osamu.
The warlord of the Warring States period, the Naito family's letter mentions gossip that "Ohno Osamu is a capable person in front of Lady Yododen's throne, and the two secretly have an affair." 200 years after the end of the Sengoku period, the military chronicle "Ming Liang Hong fan" directly states that Hideyoshi's father was Ōno Osamu.
In the 2000 Ōkawa drama Tokugawa Miyo, there is a scene in which Lady Yododo falls directly into the arms of Osamu Ohno. However, I personally believe that most of the military records of the Edo period were written by Toyotomi Toyotomi, so the statement that Osamu Ohno was Hideyoshi's biological father does not agree with me, but it inevitably makes people suspicious, after all, they are not people of that era, even if they are their family affairs.
As mentioned earlier, Tokugawa Ieyasu sharpened his sword for ten years, but at this time, the Toyotomi family was also nominally the ruler, and Hideyoshi's official position in the imperial court was rising steadily, but the actual influence was swallowed up by Tokugawa Ieyasu. In the tenth year of the Battle of Sekigahara, toyotomi and Tokugawa's representatives finally saw the king.
Emperor Tokugawa Ieyasu abdicated in 1611, and the crown prince succeeded him as emperor on the pretext of going to Kyoto. Ieyasu asked Toyotomi Hiderai to also go to Kyoto to pay his respects, at which point Hideyoshi was escorted to Kyoto by Osamu Ohno and others.
According to records at the time, the people of Kyoto and Osaka warmly welcomed Toyotomi Hiderai's team. It is said that Toyotomi Hiderai was a giant man with a height of 197 centimeters, and although this height should have moisture, it can be speculated that Hideyoshi was a burly and influential person. Three years after the 69-year-old Ieyasu met the 19-year-old Hideyoshi, the Osaka Winter Front officially broke out in 1614.
