introduction
In the long history of China, from the time Qin Shi Huang became the first emperor to the end of the feudal dynasty, a total of 494 emperors were born. Most of them tell us with practical actions that the emperor is also a human being, and that not everyone can do it to govern the country in an orderly manner.
With so many emperors, there are only a few who can be called emperors of the ages. Therefore, most emperors performed very mediocre, and even those who died early shortly after birth, and in the official historical records, the two-line introduction is completed.
Some emperors took the sword sideways and left a strong mark in the Chinese history scrolls in another way. When later generations read about their classics, they couldn't help but wonder. Being an emperor can do such an absurd point and turn himself into a failure of the times, how ruthless!

To say that the representative figure of this, during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Chen Shubao, the last emperor of the Chen Dynasty, used his life to interpret the word "absurd" vividly.
First, have the suffering experience of the virtuous emperor
If you look at the history of China, you will find that many wise emperors often had not very good experiences before becoming emperors. For example, because of the chaos of the army and the inaction of the Yuan Dynasty government, Zhu Yuanzhang, who saw many family members die and then became a beggar.
There was also Liu Yu, the first emperor of the Southern Dynasty. After his mother died, his father believed that Liu Yuke had killed his wife and abandoned her directly. There is also the Hanwen Emperor Liu Heng, who created the "Reign of Wenjing", although he was Liu Bang's son, but because of the internal strife in the court at that time, he lived a worried life every day.

It is precisely because of their tragic experience that they cherish their rights more, see through people's hearts, and sound the alarm for a long time.
Chen Shubao had the same tragic experience. As a teenager, he ran in the war, lived a life where he did not know where his fate would go tomorrow, and was taken away by Western Wei, taken hostage, and worried every day that Western Wei would tear up tickets.
Such a day, Chen Shubao has passed more than 8 years. He finally returned to his country, and when he was about to inherit the throne, his younger brother Chen Shuling wanted to take away his throne.
It was the day when Chen Shubao's father, Chen Xuandi, Chen Yandi, died of illness, and Chen Shubao cried a lot. He really didn't expect that Uncle Chen would use a decoction file to murder himself in their father's spiritual hall.

After being stabbed several times, Chen Shubao almost returned to the sky, but fortunately, the queen Liu and the nursing mother Wu were also in this accident, regardless of their own danger, to save Chen Shubao from subsequent damage, plus he was blessed with a great life, and finally retrieved a life from the king of Yan.
In the end, Chen Shubao successfully ascended the throne, and Chen Shuling was ordered to be executed, and at this time, he can be said to have seen the world clearly and experienced the years of suffering. According to the regular script, he should work hard to bring Chen Chao to the peak of glory.
But the real situation is that in the days to come, Chen Shubao has established an absurd "two blossoms of culture and style" character.

Second, Chen Shubao's "two blossoms of culture and style"
The so-called literature, Chen Shubao's literary style is indeed good, he personally also likes literary creation very much, and his creative style is also very beautiful. It's that this route is a little ethereal, and I like to write some erotic, even explicit sentences.
For example, "The face of the demon Ji is like a flower with dew, and the jade tree streams light in the backyard." And "the eldest woman complains about the emptiness, and the middle woman steals at night." The little woman smiled alone, and the pillar was Wuqi. "In modern times, Chen Shubao is definitely a prolific writer.
There are many poems, they are catchy to read, and the poetic mood is also extremely realistic, which can be said to perfectly reflect the essence of love and the description of beauty and demeanor.

This is Chen Shubao's attainment in literature.
As for the body, it is necessary to talk about Chen Shubao's "abundant martial virtue". In the eyes of later generations, Chen Shubao's wife Zhang Lihua is called "the demon Ji of the country", but in fact, Zhang Lihua is definitely a ruthless person.
Coming from a military family, she was selected as a maid by Concubine Gong's side in 568, when she was 10 years old. Chen Shubao spoiled her after seeing her for the first time.
In 575, when Zhang Lihua was 17 years old, Chen Shubao gave birth to her first child between the two, and Chen Shubao's fourth.
(Zhang Lihua)
A few years later, Chen Shubao and Zhang Lihua's second child was born. At this time, plus this newborn, Chen Shubao already has 8 children, and Chen Shubao at this stage has not yet become an emperor, and already has a litter of offspring.
To say that this Lihua will not only take care of people, but also maintain a good relationship with many sisters around her. After Chen Shubao ascended the throne, he did not want to deal with a lot of work. As an empress, Zhang Lihua was able to make some correct decisions to assist Chen Shubao in controlling the Chen Dynasty.
From the perspective of having children, Chen Shubao's personal ability is still very strong. As an emperor, Chen Shubao's usual life revolved around beautiful women and poetry creation, mingling with the concubines of the harem every day, holding various gatherings, and inviting famous literati at the time.

Third, the literati control the country, and adultery is the ruler
These literati, who had strong lyric writing ability, were appointed officials because they were appreciated by Chen Shubao. A group of people drink every day, and from time to time they can create poems that are neat, emotionally in place, and "alive" in words.
To say that the world at that time, military ability, political ability, economic ability, the Chen Dynasty could not play other countries, but to say that in terms of literature and art, the Chen Dynasty absolutely had the ability to dominate the Central Plains.
In order to be able to play more comfortably, he also ordered people to build the three pavilions of Linchun, Jieqi, and Wangxian, for himself, Zhang Lihua, and the two concubines Gong and Kong to live in.
(Zhang Lihua stills)
It is absolutely impossible for a merry literati to control the country, and the national strength of the Chen Dynasty can become strong. With the pedantry within the Chen Dynasty, coupled with the attacks of the Sui Dynasty, and Chen Shubao's ability to lead troops to fight at critical moments, the Chen Dynasty eventually perished.
Chen Shubao was so frightened that he hid in the dry well with Zhang Lihua and Kong Guicong, and when the Sui Dynasty soldiers were preparing to "fall into the well", they shouted for help, and a generation of emperors was just like that.
Fourth, it is not without a good reputation
To say that Chen Shubao's image in history, from the perspective of folk history, it is extremely evil. But from the perspective of history, it can only be said that Chen Shubao is not bad.
(Zhang Lihua)
He was not a murderer, and even if he learned that his other younger brother Chen Shujian was going to rebel, he did not kill the killer, but let him be appointed as the assassin of Jiangzhou, and he was also very generous to the other brothers.
In addition, during his appointment, he cherished the people's power and built the Three Pavilions. The wages are not less, and the reasonable arrangement of labor is not considered to be a loss of labor and money.
In addition, during his 7-year reign, he granted amnesty 10 times, exempted from taxes more times, and vigorously developed agriculture. So at that time, the people of the Chen Dynasty were still living well under the rule of this absurd emperor, and he was not without a good reputation.
Perhaps he is suitable to be a merry prince, but if he does not become an emperor, he will look different in the mouths of future generations and the writing of historical officials.
