"My child has become an angel, and he will live forever in our hearts." Until now, An Haodong's parents still find it difficult to accept that their child has left forever, but they believe that the child will stay in the world in another way and accompany them.

On November 6, An Haodong, a 1-year-old and 7-month-old child in Ningbo, passed away, and his donation of heart, kidney, liver and cornea will save the lives of at least four people with organ failure and restore sight to two blind people. This little angel also became the youngest multi-organ donor in Ningbo.

An Haodong's parents are from Dejiang County, Guizhou, who came to Fenghua, Ningbo more than 10 years ago to work, and they also have a daughter. Although the life of the family is ordinary, it is happy, full of warmth and laughter. However, an accident broke it all.

At noon on November 1, An Haodong and the neighbor's children went to the riverside path at the gate of the yard to play and accidentally fell into the water. By the time the adults arrived to rescue him, Dongdong was no longer breathing or heartbeat. 120 was rushed to a local hospital for emergency treatment, which lasted about 40 minutes, and Dongdong's heart beat back, but his condition was still critical. After consultation, the team of pediatric intensive care experts from Ningbo Women's and Children's Hospital transferred the child to the hospital for advanced life support.

After the all-out treatment of medical staff, An Haodong was temporarily out of danger again and again, but his cerebral ischemia and hypoxia had been too long, and his life was still irretrievable. On the evening of November 5, the doctor regretfully informed Dongdong's parents that the child was brain dead.

Seeing that the child could not be saved, the heartache of parents is indescribable. At this time, they learned that donating organs can continue the child's life in another way, so they had this idea.

"During the child's hospitalization, we also received help from some enthusiastic people, we are very grateful in our hearts, and we also hope that Dongdong will stay in this way and feel the warmth and coldness of the world." An Haodong's father said.

Before entering the operating room, relatives and children say their final goodbyes.

On the morning of November 6, An Haodong's parents signed the "Human Organ Donation Relatives Confirmation Registration Form", and in the afternoon, under the witness of the Zhejiang Provincial Human Organ Donation Management Center and the organ donation coordinator of the Ningbo Red Cross Society, the child was pushed into the operating room.

"Child, don't be afraid, Mom and Dad will always love you..." Before entering the operating room, An Haodong's parents couldn't help but caress the child over and over again and kissed his cheek. The child is like falling asleep, with curly hair and long eyelashes, which are very beautiful.

The corridor outside the operating room was full of people. Among these people are relatives and friends of the child, health care workers, and other patients and family members of the patients. Although many people don't know each other, everyone spontaneously came to see An Haodong on his last journey. Before the operation, all the medical staff were solemn, bending down and bowing deeply to the angel.

An Haodong, lovely little angel, thank you for coming to this world.
