Hiking on the plateau, every hike is painful, lack of oxygen, unable to walk. But when you walk to the edge of Lenggacuo Lake, the reflection of Gongga Snow Mountain on the surface of the lake makes all the hard work insignificant. At that moment, you will feel an indescribable happiness, as if you are in a fairyland.
Surrounded by rolling mountains, Lenggacuo seems to be a jewel from nature. Especially in the evening, when the sun shines through the clouds on the snow-capped mountains, the whole of Lenggacuo exudes a mysterious and serene beauty. Leng Gacuo Tips:
* There are two routes to Lenggacuo:
* 1. Shangmuju Village, you can go to Quanhua Beach and Zimei Pass nearby, Xindu Bridge can be reached by car for about 3 hours, enter Lenggacuo and charge a health fee of 20 yuan at the bottom of the mountain, you can choose to ride a horse down the mountain, and hike for about 2 hours one way.
* Second, on Chijixi Village, at the foot of the same mountain to charge 20 yuan for sanitation, and need to charge 200 yuan for motorcycles, when the car can not be driven, it will be transferred to a local motorcycle to take you to the bottom of the pass. This point is particularly good is that you can choose the three Encuo on the left or Lenggacuo on the right, but you need to climb up the pass first, and then climb down to the lake, if you don't plan to camp at the lake, no matter which lake you go to, you will watch the sunset or go up the mountain in the dark and then go down.
* Best Season: Lenggacuo has four distinct seasons, and different seasons present very different scenery. Summer and autumn temperatures are okay, which is a good time for hiking and camping; In winter, you can see the snow, and if you're lucky, you can see the blue ice.
* Equipment: Due to the high altitude, it is recommended to bring a jacket and pants to protect against the cold and warmth, enough water and food, and sunscreen. Choose the right footwear when hiking for comfort and safety.
* Accommodation: There are cabins to stay in near Lenggacuo Lake, and you can also choose to camp. The nearest villages are Shangmuju Village and Shangchijixi Village, both of which have some Tibetan families staying there.
