With the rapid economic and social development, the mental health problems of adolescents are becoming increasingly prominent, and it is particularly urgent to strengthen the construction of the adolescent psychological service system and build a mental health service network for adolescents. On December 14, the Lishui Town Youth Case Management (Referral) Center was inaugurated, which will comprehensively improve the full-cycle management service system for adolescent mental health in the town.

Lishui Town Youth Case Management (Referral) Center is a hub comprehensive psychological service platform, relying on the student care information system for case assessment, referral and tracking, with school psychology teachers and village (community) women's federation staff serving as case managers, responsible for regular communication with students, updating files, inviting case management (referral) centers to carry out professional evaluations in a timely manner, and linking various service agencies to provide services.
In terms of top-level design, the center is based on the town's idea of "a game of chess", builds a "1+2+N" model, carries out adolescent psychological prevention and counseling, and promotes the "destocking and controlling the increment" of adolescent mental health crisis cases.
Among them, "1" refers to the Youth Case (Management) Referral Center in Lishui Town, 2 refers to the two bases of the Community Health Service Center and Shuxin Station, and "N" refers to the psychological counseling service rooms of 40 Yuexin'an psychological service stations and 21 primary and secondary schools in the town.

In terms of professional guidance, the center is jointly built by the Town Comprehensive Management Office and the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University, and in accordance with the principle of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, and co-creation", it has in-depth cooperation in three aspects: screening and tracking, case service, and empowerment training, so as to promote the realization of "two early and one improvement" of adolescent mental health services, that is, early detection of case subjects, early intervention of crisis cases, and extensive improvement of psychological service talents.
It is understood that the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University was established in 2017 and can provide systematic psychological counseling and treatment services for various psychological problems and psychological disorders. The establishment of the center will further improve the "home-school-medical-home" linkage service mechanism, change "passive reception" to "active collection", and change "post-remediation" to "pre-intervention".
The Lishui Town Youth Case Management (Referral) Center has also established a special expert database and hired 5 experts to help adolescents' mental health with professional strength. A number of experts were also invited to give lectures on adolescent mental health, focusing on professional research, home-school collaboration, and practical application.

Xu Yafei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University, said that the hospital will link and integrate more mental health professional resources, unite villages (communities) to do a good job in screening, counseling, treatment services and professional training, and contribute to the establishment of a psychological service network in Lishui Town and the promotion of adolescent mental health. Wang Bingqiu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Lishui Town, put forward two expectations for the mental health work of adolescents: first, the "family, school and community" tripartite mobilization, relying on the central hub platform, to revitalize the town's psychological service resources, provide services and guidance, and the case managers of villages (communities) and schools should raise awareness and do a good job in the prevention, intervention, and referral of youth mental health crises in their jurisdictions.
Second, the operation of the center has been warmed up, implementing individualized policies, exploring diversified treatment modes such as group counseling and family therapy workshops, constantly sorting out and summarizing service experience, providing benchmarking service guidelines for handling youth crisis cases, broadening the industrial and social influence of the center, and effectively escorting the healthy growth of adolescents.
