"Greater Bay Area Meeting Room"
Based on the Greater Bay Area, tell China's story well
Founded in June 2022, "Greater Bay Area Meeting Room" is an immersive interview TV program focusing on investigation and research, which was selected as a key program of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in 2022 "Magnificent New Era, Pursuing Dreams to the Future", and the TV column of the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Radio, Film and Television in the 2021-2025 "14th Five-Year Plan" Radio and Television Key Topic Selection Plan (the third batch).
In November 2023, the column work "Zheng Yongnian: Decoding Chinese Modernization" won the second prize of the 33rd China Journalism Award.
The column invites elite dignitaries and industry leaders at home and abroad to visit the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, immerse themselves in the development achievements of the Greater Bay Area, and excavate typical cases and micro samples of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the way of investigation and research, so as to show the concept and wisdom of Shenzhen to the outside world.
The column adheres to integration and innovation, accurately sets the agenda, breaks the traditional interview studio scene, and excavates a number of detailed, opinionated, attractive and penetrating stories through the host's on-site visits and research.
The column is re-planned to broaden the breadth and depth of the topic. Recently, we have specially planned a series of special topics on the "45th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up: Global Scholars' Talks", featuring interviews with Stephen Perry, winner of the China Reform Friendship Medal, Pan Weilian and David Ferguson, winners of the Chinese Government Friendship Award, Hao Fuman, director of the Institute of East Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore, Kerry Brown, director of the China Institute at King's College London, and Neil Brown, chairman of the George W. Bush Foundation on U.S.-China Relations. Through their personal experience and observations from the perspective of a third party, Bush and others summed up and refined China's experience in reform and opening up, and analyzed how China can continue to make good use of the "key move" of reform and opening up to carry out reform and opening up to the end.
