A Difficult Game About Climbing, a platforming climbing game developed and published by indie game developer Pontypants, has been released on Steam.
In terms of gameplay style, it feels like a sibling chapter of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, released in 2017. In the game, the player controls a near-naked man who climbs to the top of the calm waters.
Although the game's protagonist has legs this time, the player can only climb with both hands, and according to the creators, a difficult game about rock climbing was inspired by Dig to Survive and wanted to contribute to the spirit of the genre.
The game currently only supports the English interface, and is expected to be officially launched in February 2024.

Game Description:
Just control the climber's hands with the mouse to climb a huge and dangerous mountain full of challenges and surprises. As you head towards the top, watch out for slippery roads. Eternal glory and wonderful gifts await all climbers who have successfully reached the top!
Mouse-specific: Players need a mouse to play this game. The left mouse button and the right mouse button are used to manipulate the character's hand to grab it, respectively. (As a result, the trackpad doesn't work at all).
