Li Xianxia, deputy head of the district, said in his speech that Shijingshan District, as the main battlefield for the transformation and upgrading of the central urban area of the capital and the old industrial base, has fully implemented the key task of "innovation and development of Beijing's metaverse industry" of the municipal party committee and municipal government in recent years, and built a high-quality development industrial cluster. Build a common technology platform of "light field imaging" and "3D cloud rendering engine" in Zhongguancun, provide underlying technical support in the field of metaverse, and accelerate the research and development and application of core technologies; lay out the first batch of Beijing's internationalization-leading benchmark incubators, aiming at key areas such as chip design, computational optics, and holographic communication, and promote the incubation and cultivation of hard technology enterprises; Shijingshan Intelligent Computing Center, with a computing power scale of 610P, provides a solid computing power guarantee for the innovative application of the Metaverse, and has built a number of typical software and hardware application projects of the Metaverse, and the demonstration effect has achieved initial results. Released major incubation results
Combined with the positioning of regional characteristic industries, the urban area has collaborated to innovate the operation and management mechanism, built the Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center, and built the "Zhongguancun Science Fiction Metaverse Incubator", which was successfully approved as the first batch of leading benchmark incubators in Beijing in 2022. Relying on the first batch of Beijing's internationalization-leading benchmark incubators, aiming at key areas of the metaverse such as chip design, computational optics, and holographic communication, we will promote the incubation and cultivation of hard technology enterprises, build the latest operational achievements of the "Xingchuang XR Digital Factory", and at the same time focus on new directions such as the artificial intelligence large model industry, and launch a convening order to jointly promote the deep integration and rapid development of the metaverse industry.
Inauguration of major technology centers
With the strong support of the Zhongguancun Management Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Shijingshan District Government, Shougang Park will be implemented to build a Beijing light field common technology platform, develop advanced technology for light field imaging computing, build a large-scale light field imaging system and a large-scale light field database, and in 2023, the platform will make full use of the more than 7,000 square meters of characteristic space of Shougang Curling Hall to upgrade and build the "MAC Metaverse Performing Arts Production and Broadcasting Technology Center" With nearly 3,000 square meters of large virtual shooting space, the center will provide the country's leading metaverse digital content performing arts production and broadcasting market services, and simultaneously and effectively promote the collaborative innovation and iterative maturity of domestic key core technologies.

He said that the large model blurs the boundary between people and computing, realizes the interpretation of multiple doppelgangers, and realizes the digital content contained in the metaverse through the large model technology, making digital doppelgangers possible and creating personalized interaction capabilities. Through a series of extensions of AIGC of artificial intelligence, there are strong text generation, audio generation, image generation, video generation, cross-modal generation, strategy generation, and virtual human generation. AIGC marks that artificial intelligence has begun to have the ability to define and present new things, focusing the value of artificial intelligence on the word "creation", greatly accelerating the content creativity of the metaverse space, supporting the rapid generation of diverse 3D content and the rapid construction of a diversified digital world in the metaverse space.
IEEE Fellow Bjorn.W. Schuller, tenured professor of artificial intelligence at Imperial College London, and Zhang Wengang, secretary general of the World UHD Video Industry Alliance, delivered keynote speeches from various aspects such as artificial intelligence, deep learning Xi, and the development of ultra-high-definition video and audio in the metaverse era.
