On the morning of December 28, an unmanned aerial vehicle carrying a passenger took off from Jiulong Lake Square in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, and successfully landed at the origin point after circumnavigating the lake for a week, completing its first commercial flight demonstration. This unmanned manned aircraft is a product independently developed by a Guangzhou company, and has recently obtained the first unmanned manned aircraft type certificate and standard airworthiness certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

It is reported that this aircraft has completed more than 42,000 safe flights, with a maximum speed of 130km/h. There is no need for a pilot on the plane, and there is no need for the passengers to operate it themselves. The flight route has been set in advance, as long as the destination is selected and the take-off command is executed, the aircraft will automatically fly to the destination along the set route.

On the same day, Guangzhou Development District and Guangzhou Huangpu District officially issued the "Several Measures for Guangzhou Development District (Huangpu District) to Promote the High-quality Development of Low-altitude Economy" ("Low-altitude 10 Articles") and policy implementation rules, awarding and subsidizing up to 30 million yuan for eligible low-altitude industrial projects, and accelerating the construction of 100-billion-level industrial clusters in the future. At present, there are 50 enterprises in the field of low-altitude economy in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, with an annual output value/revenue scale of about 13 billion yuan, including 13 specialized and new "little giants", 3 individual champions, and 9 listed companies.

In order to promote the development of low-altitude economic and industrial industries, Guangzhou will open the first unmanned manned aircraft tourism route, and more than 10 stations will be built in Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District of Guangzhou, and the route will pass through the three sightseeing routes of Sino-Singapore Knowledge City.
