IT Home reported on December 28 that MSI today released two new graphics cards equipped with RTX 4090D GPU, the models are GeForce RTX 4090 D 24G SUPRIM X Ultradragon and GeForce RTX 4090 D 24G GAMING X SLIM Magic Dragon, in order to replace RTX 4090 as the new graphics card flagship model.

According to MSI, the GeForce RTX 4090D graphics chip has up to 14,592 CUDA cores and is paired with 24GB of GDDR6X high-speed video memory, making it suitable for users with high-end requirements for gaming and AI work.
SUPRIM is equipped with the MSI TRI FROZR 3S cooling system, equipped with Blade 7 fans, ultra-multi-core heat pipes, the new version 3.0 wave heatsink fins and guide fins, and many other advanced cooling technologies, which greatly improve the cooling performance of the graphics card. SUPERDRAGON uses vapor chambers with higher heat transfer efficiency, and the metal brushed shell and backplate give the graphics card armor aesthetics while improving the strength of the graphics card. Mystic Light RGB streamers support millions of colors and offer a range of cool dynamic effects that can be customised.
The MSI GeForce RTX 4090 D 24G GAMING X SLIM features a modified nickel-plated copper base and is equipped with dual BIOS to easily switch between low-noise and high-performance modes, with the slim design of the SLIM series and measures 322×136×62 mm.
At the moment, MSI has not announced the price and availability of the new Ultra Dragon/Magic Dragon RTX 4090 D graphics card.
