3. The World Swimming Championships welcomed two "three gold kings"
From July 14 to 30, the World Aquatics Championships were held in Fukuoka, Japan, and China's Qin Haiyang and Australia's McKeown became the athletes who won gold medals in the men's breaststroke and women's backstroke respectively at the same World Championships. The duo also won the FINA Male and Female Swimmer of the Year titles in October.
