From August 23 to August 29 this year is the 31st National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, and the theme of this Year's National Energy Conservation Publicity Week is "Energy Conservation, Carbon Reduction, Green Development". On August 23, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council launched the "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction, Central Enterprise Action" network theme publicity activity.
Central enterprises adhere to the development strategy concept of giving priority to conservation, insist on placing energy conservation in an important position, and strive to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the industrial structure, the optimization of the energy structure, the efficient and economical utilization of energy resources, and the application of green and low-carbon technologies, and accelerate the formation of a green and low-carbon production mode that saves energy and protects the environment.
Today, Xiaoxin takes you into the story of China's time-honored "Texas Grilled Chicken" and the National Grid, and the energy conservation and carbon reduction work of central enterprises is explored to the end.
Which Shandong specialty is stronger? Texas Grilled Chicken is famous.
Shandong Dezhou Grilled Chicken, which ranks first among the "Four Famous Chickens in China", has been China's "net red chicken" for more than 300 years.
In the forty-first year of Kangxi, the Kangxi Emperor tasted Texas grilled chicken on his southern tour and couldn't help but praise it. Since then, Texas grilled chicken has been designated as a royal tribute and is famous in the north and south of the river.
In the twentieth century, Texas grilled chicken followed the green-skinned train throughout the land of Shenzhou and entered a period of prosperity. In those days, the scene of snapping up grilled chicken was staged every day on the railway station platform, and Texas grilled chicken was a veritable internet celebrity food.
The traditional production process of grilled chicken, in the incubation and breeding, grilled chicken production and other links, mostly use coal, firewood and other heat preservation or heating methods, low production efficiency, obvious environmental pollution, later improvement of the use of natural gas, there are also problems such as poor temperature control, large loss, easy to occur safety accidents and other issues.
In the twenty-first century, the people's pursuit of food and the environment is getting higher and higher, and the traditional production process has been difficult to meet the growing demand of the market and environmental protection.
The century-old brand took the initiative to break the situation, joined hands with the State Grid Shandong Electric Power from the source, and through the "electric energy substitution" solution, the whole industrial chain of Texas grilled chicken was improved and reduced, and large-scale mass production was achieved while achieving green and low-carbon development.
A good grilled chicken starts with the hatching of the chicks, and temperature and humidity are the key to hatching.
Natural hatching generally takes 18 days to plate and 7 days to illuminate the eggs. Each hen can hatch up to a dozen chicks, with a low hatching rate that is not suitable for large-scale hatching.
In addition to natural incubation, there are three traditional incubation methods of Kang incubation method, barrel incubation method and cylinder incubation method, mostly coal burning and firewood heating, with experience to measure temperature and adjust temperature, it is not easy to control, labor intensity is large, and the survival rate is low.
Electrical incubation is undoubtedly smarter. The incubation environment is kept at constant temperature and humidity by means of electrically controlled incubators and hatching boxes.
An incubator can incubate 100,000 chicken seedlings every 21 days, achieving scientific and labor-saving large-scale production.
So how much electricity does it take to hatch a chick?
The incubation tank and fan use about 240 kWh of electricity every day, a total of 5040 kWh of electricity in the 21-day incubation period, 100,000 chicken seedlings per box, and each chicken hatching only needs about 0.05 kWh of electricity.
Healthy chicks will come to the electrified coop after birth and enter the breeding process.
In the traditional free range method, the breeding speed, quality and yield of chickens cannot be guaranteed. The electrified farm is equipped with automatic closed feeding equipment, constant temperature, constant humidity, automatic feeding, automatic manure cleaning, as well as drinking water purification, chicken coop heating and other devices to ensure the healthy growth of large-scale chicken seedlings.
36-38 grams of chicken seedlings need to grow to about 1050 grams before they can be released. Through 70 days of electrification, a breeding shed can produce 650,000 chickens.
So how much electricity is needed from chicken seedlings to adult chickens?
According to the calculation of 650,000 chickens every 70 days, about 210,000 kWh of electricity is used in 70 days in summer and about 110,000 kWh in winter, and the average electricity consumption of each chicken is about 0.25 kWh.
When they grow up, the adult chickens will be sent to the modern assembly line to start the production of grilled chickens.
The first is the raw products production workshop, where the adult chickens are soaked and defeated and cleaned up.
In the past, to defecate chickens to boil a pot of water, and then manually remove chicken feathers and internal organs, a person can only handle more than a hundred chickens a day, time-consuming and laborious.
Chickens after automatic defecation.
Now the raw products production workshop, 1 day can complete the slaughter, debalting and finishing of 50,000 chickens, the average time of a chicken is less than 2 seconds, and the electricity consumption is about 0.08 degrees.
Before the processed chickens enter the cooked product making workshop, the workers will "separate the legs and wings" for each chicken, and finally present the shape of the mouth feathers and ducks floating on the water.
Entering the cooked product making workshop, we came to the most critical step in the production of grilled chicken - frying.
In the history of grilled chicken for more than 300 years, fried grilled chicken has undergone four upgrades of wood, coal, gas and electricity.
In the early years, the use of wood for frying grilled chicken, a pot can cook up to more than ten; later switched to coal, although the efficiency has improved, but the increase in production is smaller, and the environmental pollution is also more serious.
It was not until the natural gas was put into use that the production efficiency of grilled chicken improved. However, the use of natural gas heating boilers has problems such as poor temperature control, large losses, and easy safety accidents.
"Electric energy substitution" brings solutions. The replacement of heat transfer oil boilers by electric fryers to achieve "gas to electricity" not only increases the maximum production capacity from 60,000 a day to 100,000 a day, but also costs less.
Taking the average production of 60,000 grilled chickens per day as an example, about 3,200 cubic meters of natural gas are used, and the cost is 6,400 yuan; the use of electric fryers consumes about 6,000 kWh of electric energy per day, and the cost is 4,800 yuan. Each grilled chicken only uses 0.1 degrees of electricity, which can save 1600 yuan in energy costs in one day.
The grilled chicken on the assembly line is fried and golden in color.
More importantly, low-carbon environmental protection.
Compared with the use of natural gas, the frying of 1 grilled chicken can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 117.6 grams, which is equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 5879.87 tons per year at a maximum annual production capacity of 50 million.
Some friends will worry that the grilled chicken produced on the assembly line will lose its original taste?
The prepared Texas grilled chicken is worn through the bones.
Rest assured, the production of Texas Grilled Chicken is not ambiguous. The fried grilled chicken is dipped in an old soup filled with spices, boiled over high heat and simmered over low heat for 6 to 8 hours, ensuring a mellow aroma in the bone.
Freshly baked Texas grilled chicken should be cooled down in the shortest possible time to ensure that the broth in the chicken is not lost.
Texas Grilled Chicken Packaging Assembly Line.
The automated assembly line can complete the packaging of 930,000 grilled chickens per month, with electricity consumption of 248,000 kWh, and about 0.27 kWh of electricity per unit.
The blessing of electricity not only realizes the large-scale and large-scale production of grilled chicken, but also makes the control of the heat more convenient and more accurate, so that the quality of the grilled chicken is more controllable and stable, so that more people can taste the original authentic grilled chicken.
So how many kWh of electricity is needed to go from an egg to a Texas grilled chicken?
Just 0.75 degrees!
Not only delicious, but also very low carbon!
With the blessing of electricity, more than 20 million grilled chickens in Texas are sold to the whole country and even the world every year, and "electric energy substitution" not only makes the grilled chicken assembly line more intelligent and efficient, meets the needs of everyone to eat, but also makes the production of grilled chicken more environmentally friendly and low-carbon, and contributes to empowering rural revitalization and achieving the goal of "double carbon".
