Honda is about to launch the latest facelift of its small SUV, the Benzo, in the spring of 2024. The new Binzhi has some design improvements, but the overall appearance has not changed much, with a focus on the design update of the front part.
First of all, the front part features a newly designed hexagonal grille with a banner chrome trim. At the same time, the front bumper has also been slightly improved, and the lines in the fog lamp area on both sides have been sharpened, adding a dynamic element. The side lines of the body continue to be streamlined, with the addition of 18-inch wheels and two new body colour options – Midnight Streamer and Starlight Silver.
Inside, the new Binzhi has caused some controversy, as some trim panels have reportedly been removed, a change that has led to questions about its sense of class, which may appear cheaper. However, in other areas, the designers cleverly used horizontal lines to create a more spacious and bright interior. The center console has been partially redesigned to incorporate the popular through-type air conditioning vents, as well as practical features such as a wireless charging panel for mobile phones.
In addition, the new Binzhi focuses on improving ride comfort, with increased width of the front seats and upscale materials. In addition, luxury options such as a panoramic sunroof and heated rear seats have been added.
In terms of powertrain, the new Binzhi has not undergone major upgrades, but is still equipped with a stable 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an efficient 1.5-liter e:HEV hybrid system, which provide excellent driving performance and good fuel economy respectively.
Although some of the changes to the new Honda Binzhi have caused some controversy, its overall product power is still worth looking forward to, and we are waiting for the official launch of the new Honda Binzhi in the spring, as well as the final evaluation of the facelift by the market and consumers.
