As a plug-in hybrid version of the GL8, the car will be equipped with Buick's latest generation of intelligent plug-in hybrid system for the first time, with a comprehensive range of more than 1,000 kilometers.
Officials said that the all-new Buick GL8 Luzun PHEV will be launched soon, and it is expected that the price may be announced at the Beijing Auto Show.
Judging from the previously released pictures, the GL8 Luzun PHEV adopts the design style of the Buick Century, which is significantly different from the fuel version of the model.
At the front, LED daytime running lights are designed through, and the lower high and low beam clusters are integrated with the longitudinal layout of the air vents on both sides of the front bumper. The large recent radiator grille in the middle further enhances the vehicle's aura.
At the rear, the new car also adopts the style of the Buick Century, with chrome trim strips showing its luxurious atmosphere.
In terms of power, the Buick GL8 Luzun PHEV is equipped with a new generation of intelligent plug-in hybrid system, which consists of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor.
Referring to the Explorer PLUS, its same engine has a maximum power of 127 kW and an electric motor with a maximum power of 140 kW. The combined cruising range is more than 1000 km.
