Tuchengzi is one of the three dangerous workers in the Zhangqiu section of the Yellow River, a flood prevention person: "We sleep less, it is for more people to sleep well"
Living in a levee tent, the night watch had to be wrapped in a military coat
"Boom!" Looking at the landing point, the duty officer Ji Binbin made a gesture of falling his arm to the crane driver, and the stone poured into the bottom of the dam in an instant, and the splash of water was immediately submerged in the vast waves.
On October 5, trucks carrying tons of stones continued to pass through the rain and fog at the Tuchengzi Dangerous Embankment in the Zhangqiu section of the Yellow River. In the distance, the Yellow River rushed forward like a thousand armies and horses.
"Tuchengzi is one of the three dangerous workers in the Zhangqiu section of the Yellow River, and in order to ensure that the dam body can withstand the test of autumn floods, since yesterday, the Zhangqiu Yellow River Bureau has started a pre-reinforcement project here, and all operations will be completed tomorrow." Ji Binbin is the deputy director of the Economic Office of the Zhangqiu Yellow River Bureau, and since September 30, all the cadres of the Zhangqiu Yellow River Bureau, including him, together with more than 50 staff members of the Yellow River Management Section, have been stationed on the front line of the Yellow River and are on duty for 24 hours. In order to observe the flood situation more closely, on the night of September 30, two dangerous workers and one controller set up three tents as temporary duty points, and the nearest one was only a dozen meters away from the mighty Yellow River.
Ji Binbin's tent was next to the construction site, and the rumbling sound of construction work, the roar of generators and the sound of the Yellow River filled the ears of everyone on the scene. Ji Binbin's duty arrangements were also packed: after taking over at 8 a.m. on October 5, the construction progress began to be dispatched, and the four dam heads of the new No. 1, No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 were inspected every two hours to find out whether there were cracks and water leakage in time, and the night was no exception.
"I'm afraid I won't be able to get up at night and make a mistake, so my phone has set several alarms." Speaking of flood prevention night shift, Ji Binbin has accumulated a lot of experience: the temperature was high in the first few days, there were many mosquitoes at night, and when he went out to inspect, his arms, legs and other exposed parts should be coated with flower dew. In the past two days, the temperature has plummeted, the temperature along the Yellow River is low, and the military coat is wrapped up during the night patrol.
When the reporter met Li Zhongpeng, deputy director of the Yellow River Management Section of the Yellow River Affairs Bureau in Zhangqiu, he had not returned home from an inspection that had been on duty for 23 consecutive days, and his rain boots were covered with mud, and his wet clothes could not be changed, so he sat on the temporary overtime bed. Li Zhongpeng said that since August 14, the acceptance of the two previous projects has been seamlessly linked to the yellow river's autumn flood prevention, working one after another, leaving only four or five hours of sleep a day.
"Although I am sleepy, I can't sleep now, and I don't want to sleep." Li Zhongpeng said.
For every Yellow River flood prevention person, they cannot sleep because the yellow river flood prevention situation is grim, and all efforts are being made to flood control along the yellow river; they do not want to sleep because flood prevention pays attention to "grabbing the early and grabbing the small", and if you sleep less, you can get rid of the danger a little earlier, and the flood prevention guarantee will increase by one point. "This is also done for more people along the Yellow People to sleep well." When the flood season is over, let's get some sleep. Li Zhongpeng said.
Accurate water information is the basic data support for the comprehensive dispatch of the whole river.
During the flood season, there is a beach lip outlet height observation point every two kilometers along the Yellow River, and the data of 13 observation points within 26.78 kilometers of the Zhangqiu section need to be measured and reported before 9 o'clock in the morning, so the observation team needs to start from the management section before 5 o'clock in the morning.
"Some of the observation points are located in the field, there is no way to go, and you have to carry the equipment over the knees of the grass to the shore." Chen Yang, deputy director of the Yellow River management section, said that the members of the flood season squad do this every day.
In the face of the flood situation, the flood prevention people of the Yellow River are silently insisting.
"The duty schedule for the National Day holiday in mid-September has long been arranged, but with the arrival of the flood situation, all cadres and workers have given up their vacations and returned to work." Li Lindong, head of the flood control office of the Yellow River Bureau in Zhangqiu, said.
In his spare time, Li Zhongpeng habitually pulled out his mobile phone and looked at the child's video. Usually there is no time to accompany the child, this National Day holiday he bought a ticket early, originally planned to take the child to see the sea. "Yesterday, the child's mother took them from their grandmother's house to their home, which was a National Day trip." Li Zhongpeng said that knowing that his father did not go home to guard the Yellow River, the child was very sensible and did not complain, "As long as the Yellow River is safe from flooding, these sticks are worth it."
