The specific schedule, ticket prices and online shopping channels have been attached to the following article, and eager audiences are welcome to pull down to view. May's laughter is all over it.
The retrospective of French classic comedy films, co-organized by the Broadway Film Centre and the French Embassy, will officially kick off on the evening of May 12 (this Friday).
On the day of the opening ceremony, The famous musician, comedian and King Taili of the "Chopsticks Brothers" will attend the pre-screening and post-screening activities as the Chinese ambassador of the French exhibition. We specially invited a big handsome guy from France to chat with the guests and BC, Chinese how to get French humor, and how the French people fell in love with the Chinese Divine Comedy.
The impression of Chinese film fans on French films often stays in literature, art, high coldness and mood, but some ignore the most popular and national comedy films.
Ten classics is only an introduction, far from showing the whole picture of French comedy films, but also hopes to bring the charm of French humor to Chinese audiences.

FEAST DAY
1949
5.12 | 19:30 | BC*
5.19 | 19:00 | GM
The festival opened with "France's first color film", "Festival", but the latest restored black-and-white version was presented. The interesting things behind it can be told in detail by the host on the spot.
"Festival" is the debut feature film of the French silent comedy master Tati, which is already extremely fluent and humorous, opening up the discussion of modernization and the expression of the feelings around the fans. Jacques Tati has only 6 feature films in his lifetime, but he can rank among the world's greatest directors.
The film was shot in the French town of Saint-Sévelt, where Tati took refuge during World War II, and almost all the villagers in the real world participated in the filming of the film - the postman François became a real-life character, connecting the real and the fictional.
Leo Tracking
THE MAN FROM RIO
1963
5.13 | 14:00 | GM
5.20 | 16:30 | BC
Director: Philippe de Prouga
Starring: Jean-Paul Belmondo
François Dole
Gene Sevez
In the history of cinema, there are always many routines that are constantly repeated and do not seem outdated because time flies. As a typical action comedy, "Leo Tracking" shows the ability of the French film industry to compete with Hollywood.
This Raiders of the Lost Ark story combines the exotic scenery of Rio de Janeiro, the pattern and style of "The Adventures of Tintin", and the invocation and ridicule of American genres.
Escape from danger
THE GREAT MOP
1966
5.12 | 19:00 | GM
5.13 | 16:30 | BC
Director: Gerald Uri
Starring: Louis de Finez
Bourville
Claudio Brooke
If there is a film in this film festival that does not need to be recommended, I think it may be "Tiger's Mouth". Set by director Geral Uri's superb comedic skills, de Finez contributed his best performance.
This joke story set in the background of World War II, full of optimistic and positive forces, as well as effective and sincere laughter skills, has been translated and translated into different languages, and has become popular all over the world.
Nojima True Feelings
THE SAVAGE
1975
5.14 | 14:30 | GM
5.21 | 16:30 | BC
Director: Jean-Paul Lapeniu
Starring: Yves Montant
Catherine Deneuve
Another romantic comedy by Jean-Paul Lapeñu, director of The Big Nose. The men and women's stumbling escapes add French notions of emotion to Hollywood's neuro-comedy model.
The beautiful Dunaf seduced all the way, and finally identified with the popular young student Yves Montaent. The chemistry between the two was spectacular, and they achieved one of the best box office results of the year.
epicure
THE WING OR THIGH
1976
5.14 | 16:30 | BC
5.19 | 14:30 | GM
Director: Claude Gidey
Cruche
Claude Jean-Sa
Another representative work of de Finez, the most worth seeing in addition to the superb and cute performance method of "The Old Man", is the foodie setting finalized by the title. The traditional French gastronomic culture has resisted the evil invasion of modern industry, and a father and son have a fluctuating and re-reconciled relationship due to different ambitions.
In this journey of taste and loss of taste, there are stylized comedy techniques, but there are also many humanistic care and eating complexes that extend beyond the film.
Little Red Fan made a big fuss in Paris
AN INDIAN IN THE CITY
1994
5.14 | 16:30 | GM
5.20 | 14:30 | BC
Director: Elver Paru
Starring: Thierry Lehrmitt
Patrick Tancy
Miao Miao
One of the most widely viewed films in French history, little red fan paris is one of the most watched films in French history, and as the name suggests, it tells the story of a young boy born in the rainforest in Paris, many of which are still cross-cultural fun.
A few years later, it was remade by Hollywood as "Savage City" and moved to New York. The original version of Paris was also adapted into a game on the Gameboy platform, which continues to be popular in the childhood of a generation.
In addition to the director, the film's other creator, Thierry Lehrmitt, is noteworthy.
He was a principal member of the famous Parisian comedy troupe Le Splendid, and as such, the film is considered one of Le Splendid's outstanding works.
Welcome to the North
WELCOME TO LES CH'TIS
2008
5.19 | 19:00 | BC
5.21 | 14:30 | GM
Director: Danny Byrne
Starring: Cade Maillard
Danny Byrne
"Welcome to the North" is a box office miracle in the new century, breaking the record of "Tiger's Mouth" with low-cost works. Danny Byrne has also become the most high-profile and hot french comedy creator.
This relaxed and peaceful "map cannon" film focuses on the northern provinces that rarely appear in literature and art, although the focus of the baggage is on the northern dialect and the northern temperament, but it also borrows the change of attitude before and after, and is full of emotional undertones for this story of "the happy meeting of the north and the south": "The people of the provinces must cry twice when they come to the north: When they first arrive and when they are about to leave" (Un étranger qui vient dans le Nord pleure deux fois: quand il arrive, et quand il repart)。
Boys and Gijom
THE BOYS AND GUILLAUME, AT THE TABLE!
2013
5.14 | 14:30 | BC
5.21 | 16:30 | GM
Director, Starring: Guelom Galini
On Mother's Day, BC presents you with "The Boys and The Gijom", which won the César Award for Best Picture in France that year – a very peculiar family story: a strange mother who not only raised her son as a daughter, but also ordered him to fall in love with men... It's so exciting!
The film was created almost entirely by the director alone. It is not easy for ordinary actors to self-direct and self-act, and French comedian Guillaume Galini also played two roles of mother and son at the same time in the film, two roles of different genders.
Diplomatic storm
QUAI D'ORSAY
5.13 | 14:00 | BC
5.20 | 16:30 | GM
Director: Bertrand Tavernier
Starring: Thierry Lermit
Raphael Persona
The election has just ended, and gossip is raging. This season is best suited to see a political comedy that pierces through the habits of French officialdom and ridicules high-ranking French officials.
Tavigne, a film critic by training, is an important contemporary director who has won the Golden Lion Award for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival. "Diplomatic Storm" is divided into chapters with Heraclitus quotations, sketching the foreign ministry group portrait caricature, the depiction of the workplace, the satire of politics and the game of language, easy and wonderful.
Sophie's misfortune
SOPHIE'S MISFORTUNES
2016
5.13 | 16:30 | GM
5.21 | 14:30 | BC
Director: Christopher Honoré
Starring: Anaes Demustier
Gershfi Farahani
In this film festival, the latest work of the year is "Sophie's Misfortune". The translation sounds deep, but it can also be understood as "miserable Sophie", and the story is adapted from the naughty Bag Sophie trilogy of Mrs. Saguir, the outstanding 19th-century fairy tale writer.
This "classical and modern" work, which tells the family adventures of naughty girls, is of course the most suitable one for the film festival to watch with children. The cute characters and fresh charm of the summer scene in the film will also bring a relaxed and happy movie-watching experience for adults.
