Two years ago, on the eve of Children's Day, the Ayi Choir of Wenshui Town Central School was established, and dozens of children who love to sing got together, and more than 70% of the members are of the Yi ethnic group. On the road of rural revitalization, the folk songs that have been inherited for thousands of years are sung by the children of the Ayi Choir, which has also become a portrayal of the changes in this Yi township.

Ayi waved the wings of music and spread her wings towards their dreams, which is inseparable from the power of more kindness.

In the winter of 2022, China Resources Beverage's "C'estbon 100 Libraries Project" entered the central school of Wenshui Town, Leibo County, Daliangshan, and donated a brand-new library, a 600-square-meter stadium and a 300-square-meter love track for the children. Since then, the staff volunteers of CR Beverage have been moved again and again by the smart singing of the Ayi Choir in several return visits.

Soon, CR Beverage set up a special project team to carry out a three-year one-on-one pairing assistance with the Ayi Choir from the beginning of 2023, hoping to take the children out of the mountains and see the outside world.

In July 2023, Gong Linna, the founder of Chinese new art music and singer, was invited to fly to Daliang Mountain to create and adapt the Yi folk song "Buckwheat is Red" with the children of the Leibo County Cultural Center and the Ayi Choir.

"Ayi's wings rode the spring breeze, flew over the mountains and over the fields; Ayi's wings are the rain and dew of China, which moistens the mountains and moistens the fields." In the Yi language, "Ayi" means "child", and this song "Ayi's Wings" is responding to the expectation of "seeing a bigger world".

Soon after, the children of the Ayi Choir dressed in traditional Yi costumes and together with Gong Linna, they showed their singing voices at the National Style Concert of the Grand Theater of Shenzhen Longgang Cultural Center, like a clear spring in the mountains, and won the sincere applause of thousands of audiences present.

Gong Linna said after the performance: "The eyes of the children in Daliangshan are as clear and innocent as the stars. Their deep love for singing and their unique natural sound of the Yi people are enough to touch everyone's heart. ”

In May this year, the Ayi Choir of Wenshui Town Central School received an invitation letter from the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Technology Cultural Exchange Center. With the support and accompaniment of China Resources Beverage, they brought the song "Ayi's Wings", adapted from the Yi folk song, and 40 performance teams composed of more than 1,000 young people across the country to perform at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, ushering in a colorful and unforgettable Children's Day.
