The world's first set of ± 1100kV UHV converter valve and control system, 500kV unified power flow controller, 500kV DC circuit breaker...... These core equipment independently developed by NARI Jibao have overcome a series of "stuck neck" technologies such as giant hydropower station monitoring systems.
"Through years of independent research and development, we have achieved independent controllability in all voltage levels and a full range of equipment, and more than 130,000 pieces of equipment have been successfully applied in practical projects." He Xuefeng told reporters that in the past equipment, many chips and devices were imported, and after the realization of full autonomy and control, not only the performance of the equipment has reached the original effect and level, but the power consumption has also been reduced by 20%, and the effective service life of the equipment has also been longer.
The rapid development of new energy has also brought challenges to the construction of new power systems. "Compared with thermal and wind power generation, new energy power generation is fluctuating and intermittent, and we have independently developed a network construction support technology solution to effectively solve this problem." He Xuefeng said for example, in the Ejinaqi area of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, NARI Jibao provided the local integrated solution with network construction technology as the core, successfully realized the country's first regional power grid across three voltage levels of black start, but also the first time to achieve 110,000 square kilometers of wide-area large grid, high proportion of new energy power system on-grid and off-grid non-stop conversion, as well as the whole area of medium and long-term off-grid operation, covering a total of 5 power stations, 17 substations and 102 lines.
