On May 23rd, the 133rd CCF TF event "The Front-end of the Intelligent Era: New Productivity and New Experience" was held through online live broadcast. This TF event invited three experienced senior engineers at home and abroad to share their understanding and practical experience of new productivity and new experience in their work.
"Under the wave of AI, can IDEs still play like this? 》
Wu Danwu, a front-end development technology expert from the Technology Risk and Performance Department of Alibaba Holdings, shared the topic of the combination of AI and IDE (Integrated Development Environment).
He first introduced the development status of the IDE field, and introduced a number of popular IDEs in the market, such as Cursor, Project IDX, Babel.cloud, and Devin.
Next, he came up with the concept of AI native. He believes that the process of using IDEs in the AI era should be fundamentally different from before. Users will transition from direct control of various details to the use of various functions of the IDE through the AI super portal. He took OpenSumi, an IDE product he participated in, as an example to explain how to develop the main functions of IDEs in the AI era.
Finally, he looked forward to the future development of the IDE field, and he believed that the era of AI Agent will come in advance in 2024, and the IDE field will also develop rapidly with an AI-first approach.
Exploration and Application of Intelligent Explanation Technology
Yang Yuanguang (Yi Yang), senior front-end engineer of Ant Group, shared the theme of the exploration and application of intelligent explanation technology.
He first introduced the basic concepts of intelligent explanation technology in combination with his own work. He divided the intelligent explanation into three parts: digital human, voice broadcast and animation. His follow-up sharing also revolves around these three parts.
Regarding the digital human part, Yang Yuanguang chose Oasis digital human in his work, and on the basis of technical selection, he solved technical problems such as voice generation, action rendering, and lip rendering.
In the voice broadcast part, Yang Yuanguang shared the voice broadcast solution based on SSML, showed the voice text editing problems he encountered in his practical work, and shared the solutions one by one.
In the animation part, he shared the kanban animation scheme based on the open-source animation solution lottie. In this part, in addition to applying the framework and implementing editing functions, he also shared his experience in using AIGC capabilities to improve R&D efficiency.
"Embracing Component-based Development"
Zhao Jinjiang, a front-end engineer at Bit, brought the content of "Embracing Component Development".
His sharing is divided into three parts: the origin of component-based development, the current best practices of component-based development, and the future outlook.
In the origin of componentized development, he combined his own experience and analyzed the problems to be solved and the evolution process of componentized development from a historical perspective.
In the Best Practices section, he analyzes the currently popular componentization scenarios. He believes that the two biggest challenges facing componentization are the scale of modules and the "extension" of modules. He then analyzes the solutions and advantages and disadvantages of these two types of problems.
In the future outlook section, he mentioned rapid development and debugging, decentralization + granular maintenance, and ease of writing as the main challenges in the future. He believes that the component development environment and component collaboration platform are the key to meeting the challenge. Finally, he presented his design of a component development environment and a component collaboration platform based on his recent work.
