The Guizhou section is about 35.3 kilometers long, with two-way four lanes and a speed of 80/100 kilometers per hour, with a total investment of about 5.5 billion yuan, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic until 2025.
Heli Expressway is an important project of the new land-sea corridor in the western region. After the expressway is completed and opened to traffic, it will play an important role in optimizing the regional road network, promoting the development of resources along the line, and facilitating the travel of the people along the line. From the perspective of optimizing the road network, it will help improve the situation of "strong in the west and weak in the east" of the Guizhou-Guizhou Expressway, and form a new channel to the Beibu Gulf in the south and out of the Greater Bay Area in the east. At present, Guangxi has planned 10 high-speed docking Guizhou, but mainly concentrated in the western Guizhou region, the G75 Lanhai Expressway, G69 Shankun Expressway, G78 Shankun Expressway and part of the completed Pingtian Expressway, Leye to Wangmo Expressway are located in the west area of Guizhou-Guizhou docking, in the east area (Guilin and Liuzhou) only built G76 Xiarong Expressway, which has caused huge pressure on Guilin/Hezhou transit, in this case, the construction of Rongcong Expressway has been put on the agenda! However, the two expressways are difficult to meet the demand for direct access from Guizhou to the Greater Bay Area. After the completion and opening of the Heli Expressway, it can be connected to the H78 Shandong-Kunming Expressway to Liuzhou, and through the Liuwu Expressway, a new high-speed channel from Guizhou to the Greater Bay Area will be formed.
From the perspective of facilitating the travel of the masses, improve the level of Guangxi's "county-to-county expressway". As early as the end of 2022, Guangxi has achieved the goal of "county-to-county expressway", but there is no high-speed passing near the two county towns of Huanjiang and Gongcheng, but the time between the county and the nearest high-speed entrance and exit meets the standard of "county-to-county expressway". The good news is that the Guanyang-Pingle Expressway, which has been promoted for many years, will be completed and opened to traffic within the year, and Gongcheng County will usher in the expressway for the first time; Similarly, after the completion and opening of the Heli Expressway (Guangxi Section), the "doorstep" of Huanjiang County will also usher in the expressway, making it more convenient for the people along the line to travel. In addition, the Heli Expressway is rich in tourism resources, passing through the Maolan National Nature Reserve, etc., after the completion and opening of the expressway, the traffic conditions along the line will be greatly improved and the high-quality development of the tourism industry will be promoted.
