On June 15, the G7 summit came to an end in Italy. The seven countries, namely the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Canada, Italy, and Japan, issued a joint statement after the meeting, in which they not only strongly condemned Russia's "crimes," but also openly pointed the finger at China and issued a warning to China of "three prohibitions": It is not allowed to aid Russia, it is not allowed to use force against the Philippines, and it is not allowed to recover Taiwan by force.
Seeing such wording, I believe that most Chinese people will scoff at it and even feel ridiculous. Who do they think they are, the saviors of the world? They can't solve their own domestic problems, they are in a mess, and all the polls have fallen below the lowest point in history, and they are embarrassed to point fingers at other countries' internal affairs and interfere wantonly, who gave them the courage?
Among these seven people, except for the Italian prime minister, the other six are in jeopardy, and whether they are eligible to continue to participate in the summit next year will be a big question mark. Therefore, some people commented that this is the weakest summit in the history of the G7, like a "breakup meeting", or a "losers' alliance".
Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian quickly gave a strong response to the G7's crude remarks and once again hyping up China's "overcapacity" issue: The G7 summit communiqué once again manipulated China-related issues, slandered and attacked China, and stirred up clichés that have no factual basis, lack legal basis, and no morality to speak of, and are full of arrogance, prejudice and lies, which are extremely absurd, and the Chinese government strongly protests and condemns this.
The G-7 joint communique has once again exposed the ugly features of its hegemonism, which can arbitrarily point fingers at a sovereign country and grossly interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. They seem to be alive in the early 20th century, thinking that China was still the same weak and incompetent Qing government.
As Hua Chunying, then spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: The G7 seems to have a sense of time and space, thinking that it is still living in the era of the Eight-Nation Alliance more than 120 years ago. Today's world is no longer a world in which the imperialist powers can flaunt their might and do whatever they want on the land of China. Today's China is not the old China that was bullied and slaughtered by others more than 100 years ago, and their dream of being a great power should wake up. He also emphasized that the era when foreign powers could open the door to China with a few cannons is completely gone.
China is a sovereign and independent country, and whether or not to aid Russia, whether to give the Philippines another color, or whether to liberate Taiwan by force is China's own business, and it cannot tolerate condescending remarks and stirring up right and wrong. The G7 joint communiqué is nothing more than a piece of waste paper for China, which is impossible to accept, and no one will pay attention to it.
With this leisure, it is better to concentrate on doing a good job in your own internal affairs, just imagine, how can a person who can't even do his own housework well still have the energy to take care of other people's tiles?
It is hoped that the G7 will work hard to put itself in the right position, and if it continues to insist on going its own way, it will only reap the consequences and shoot itself in the foot.
The dream of the great powers, with the current trend of the international community, is nothing but a self-deception, a long-outdated daydream, and it is really time to wake up.
