The external prescription for the treatment of "lipoma" is warm and yang dehumidifying, phlegm and dampness, and cleverly dissipates lipoma

In today's article, I want to talk to you about lipomas.

What is a lipoma?

To put it bluntly, it is a bag under our skin, which is soft to the touch, not painful, not hard, not red or swollen, and is a very common benign tumor. It is most common under the skin on the trunk and extremities. Normally, this thing will not exceed 5 centimeters in diameter.

What to do with this lipoma? It doesn't affect anything, but it looks and feels unsettling.

Now, let me tell you a method, this method I learned from others in my early years. I think there is some truth, so let's write it out for your reference.

You prepare Chinese medicine cloves, cinnamon, raw banxia, raw southern star. The four flavors of medicine are ground into fine powder. Mix it up. When using, take an appropriate amount of the medicine, apply it to the affected area, and fix it with adhesive tape. Change the dressing about once a day.

This method was first published in the "Shanghai Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine" in 1985, and was created by the predecessors of Xinglin in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. It targets lipomas caused by phlegm dampness. Of course, if the patient's skin is allergic, or there is damage and is not resistant to external application, then it cannot be used.

I'm going to make this clear to you – don't try it yourself unless you have a professional to guide you in detail. Why? I'll tell you about it at the end of this article.

I have seen some colleagues in TCM dermatology use this method.

To be honest, for some people, the effect is okay. However, some people must be combined with internal Chinese medicine. But in any case, as a rule of thumb, it is worth paying attention to.

What is the reason for this? First of all, you have to understand what exactly a lipoma is.

Lipoma, in fact, is the so-called phlegm nucleus in traditional Chinese medicine. Fat is considered by Chinese medicine to be phlegm and dampness. The fat aggregates into tumors, which is the sputum nucleus. Therefore, its fundamental problem lies in phlegm dampness. To solve it, the fundamental way is to dissolve phlegm and dampness.

In fact, this can be confirmed in daily life. You see, there are many obese people who are relatively prone to inexplicable small bumps under the skin, which are neither painful nor itchy. This is most likely the so-called "phlegm nucleus" in Chinese medicine. Because they have phlegm and dampness in their bodies. On the contrary, people with thinner bodies rarely grow this thing.

At the same time, we have also observed that some obese people, after effective weight loss, the sputum nucleus will shrink to varying degrees, or even disappear. This indicates that the phlegm dampness has been dissipated and the sputum nucleus has begun to shrink.

Knowing this, we will understand the mystery above.

Cloves and cinnamon are all pungent and warm products. Nanxing and Banxia all have the ability to dissolve phlegm. Phlegm and dampness are yin and evil, and they cannot be transformed unless they have yang qi, so cloves and cinnamon warm yang dehumidify. On this basis, Nanxing and Banxia will come again to dissolve phlegm and disperse knots, which can solve the problem.

The person it is aimed at must be characterized by phlegm and dampness, not heat and evil. As far as the tongue is concerned, it must be that the tongue is pale and greasy, the body is plump, and the veins are smooth and smooth. If this person's phlegm nucleus belongs to phlegm and fire stagnation, then this method cannot be used. This one is noteworthy.

I'm writing this out just for your reference.

Shengnanxing and Shengbanxia, these two flavors of medicine are poisonous. Even when applied topically, it can have a strong irritating effect on the skin, leading to allergies, itching, and even more serious problems. Some people are particularly sensitive to this thing, and after external use, they will feel like an ant bite.

Therefore, it is important to use this method sparingly at the beginning. If you have allergies, or if your skin is too delicate or has wounds, you should not use it. When using, be sure to follow the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner or Chinese herbalist.
