In order to further improve the safety awareness of industry practitioners and enhance the ability of postal express companies to deal with emergencies, on June 18, Xiangshui Postal Administration, together with the county Red Cross Society and the county postal company, jointly carried out the 2024 county's postal express industry "Safety Production Month" theme lecture and fire drill, emergency rescue activities, more than 60 people from the county's mail and delivery enterprise heads, safety officers, couriers, etc.
The activity is divided into three parts: safety preaching, emergency rescue knowledge training and on-site drills, first of all, the main person in charge of the post administration will carry out the safety preaching activity of "100 regiments into 10 million enterprises and 10 million employees" around the theme of "everyone talks about safety, everyone will be able to respond to emergencies - smooth life channel", requiring employees to effectively enhance the consciousness and initiative of safety production, and comprehensively investigate and rectify all kinds of risks and hidden dangers. In the second part of the activity, the staff of the county Red Cross Society taught and demonstrated the first-aid knowledge and techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the use of automatic external defibrillators, hemostasis, bandaging, fixation and on-site handling. The third part of the activity simulated the fire scene, organized the participants to evacuate the treatment site in an orderly manner, covered their mouths and noses with wet towels or clothes during the evacuation, quickly arrived at the outdoor safe place to assemble, extinguished the simulated fire point, and learned the use of fire-fighting equipment on the spot.
In the next step, Xiangshui Bureau will continue to carry out a series of publicity activities on safety production, continuously urge enterprises to further strengthen risk awareness, strengthen safety production education and training for employees, establish a bottom-line thinking of safety production, improve emergency response capabilities, and ensure the safe, orderly and smooth delivery of services.
