It is reported that the Jiangdong New Area comprehensive smart energy project is located in Haikou Jiangdong New Area Headquarters Economic Zone (ecological CBD), with a total area of 7,000 square meters, which is the first in Haikou City, and is also the largest smart comprehensive energy service project under construction in Jiangdong New Area, which can meet the cooling demand of 1.6 million square meters of construction area of Jiangdong New Area Headquarters Economic Zone after it is put into operation, and realize the effective application of clean energy. The project consists of three parts: an energy sub-station, an energy terminal and a cooling pipe network, of which the energy sub-station has been officially cooled to Jiangdong Building through commissioning in 2023.

Since the start of the project, the project department has comprehensively improved its coordination ability, strengthened the control of the construction process, ensured safety, quality and progress, and laid a good foundation for the project construction to progress as scheduled. "In terms of safety management, we have formulated a special construction plan for limited space, and equipped with sufficient fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting facilities and equipment." Ma Dan, mechanical and electrical manager of Datang Haikou Integrated Smart Energy Project of China Construction First Bureau, introduced.

It is understood that the project combines low-energy refrigeration equipment with valley price electric ice storage and energy storage process system, and supplies low-temperature chilled water to the air-conditioning system at the end of the building in the area through the pipe network, and builds energy terminals and energy sub-stations on the east and west sides of the headquarters economic zone respectively to create a "double cold source" cooling system, which shortens the transmission distance between the cooling load center and the user to less than 2 kilometers, coupled with the large temperature difference design of water supply and return, which effectively reduces the energy loss in the process of cold transmission and improves the comprehensive energy utilization rate of the headquarters economic zone. Contribute to the green and low-carbon construction of Jiangdong New Area.
