In the daffodil planting greenhouse of the cooperative, the reporter saw that the newly planted Chongming crispy taro seedlings have grown to more than ten centimeters high, and the young leaves are full of vitality, and the workers are busy digging ditches, which will be used to sow organic fertilizer in the future.
At the end of May this year, after the harvest of daffodil bulbs was completed, the cooperative immediately turned over the land in the greenhouse and planted 50 acres of crispy taro. At the same time, at the junction of the greenhouse, rows of grape vines are growing vigorously, and clusters of round and plump grape bunches hang from the vines, and workers are bagging the grapes, and the grapes will be ready for harvest at the end of next month.
Shi Hao, the person in charge of the cooperative, told reporters that a large amount of organic fertilizer will be put into the land when planting crispy taro and grapes, so as to ensure that the subsequent planting of narcissus has sufficient fertility.
Daffodil greenhouses are expensive to build, and for cooperatives, planting more crops can make the most of these high-quality facilities and create more economic value. At the same time, the cooperative's 300 acres of open-air daffodil fields have just completed rice transplanting earlier this month, and the rotation of daffodils and rice has made full use of land resources.
