Another firepower up front? Can Isak land at Stamford Bridge?

It is imperative to make up for the strength of the front

Despite the signing of the rising star of the game, Chelsea's forward line still needs more reserves. Nicholas Jackson, who excelled last season, needs strong competitors to reach his potential.

Previously, Chelsea has been linked with a number of strikers, including Lille's Davy, Hoffenheim's Behr and Aston Villa's Duran. However, neither the Ligue 1 stars nor the Premier League upstarts were able to get together with Chelsea in the end. Even their offer for Atletico Madrid's Omorodion was rejected.

Aiming for the Premier League Golden Boot, is it inevitable?

While casting a wide net, Chelsea have set their sights on the Premier League, with Swedish striker Isak as their latest target. According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have enquired about Isak about Isak's transfer possibilities with Newcastle United. The two sides have made initial contact over the transfer of the Sweden international.

However, to bring Isak to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will have to break their club's transfer record. Last summer, Chelsea spent £115 million to sign Caicedo, breaking the club's all-time mark.

With Isak joined, can Chelsea's forward line take to the next level?

If Chelsea are able to sign Isak, it will undoubtedly be one of the key additions for new head coach Maresca. Since joining Newcastle from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022, Isak has proven himself to be one of the Premier League's top goalscorers.

The 24-year-old striker scored 10 goals in 22 Premier League games in his first season at Newcastle and was on fire last season, scoring 21 goals in 30 games, finishing third in the Premier League's top scorer behind Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

Although Newcastle have had to consider selling key players because they meet the Premier League's financial fair play rules, they are still keen to keep Isak. The Magpies want to sign Isak to a new contract until 2028, but the two sides have yet to agree on a new contract.
