On June 26, Liao Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Southwest Medical University, and Zhang Chunxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Southwest Medical University, came to Meishan Tianfu New District to discuss and exchange views on the construction and development of Tianfu Hospital affiliated to Southwest Medical University. Zou Rulin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Meishan Party Working Committee of Tianfu New Area, presided over the meeting, and Guo Hong, deputy director of the Management Committee of Sichuan Tianfu New Area and director of the Meishan Management Committee of Tianfu New Area, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed the construction and operation guarantee of Tianfu Hospital Affiliated to Southwest Medical University, and the preparation for operation and opening of clinics, and signed the "Operation Subsidy Agreement of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University (Tianfu Hospital Affiliated to Southwest Medical University)".
On behalf of the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee, Zou Rulin expressed his gratitude to Southwest Medical University for its long-term care and support, especially for the construction of Tianfu Hospital affiliated to Southwest Medical University. He pointed out that Southwest Medical University is a medical school with a glorious history and fine traditions, and its medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research are all at the leading level in the province. Since the launch and implementation of the Tianfu Hospital project affiliated to Southwest Medical University, the two sides have cooperated sincerely, pragmatically and efficiently, promoted the planning and construction of the project with high standards and high quality on time, and made every effort to make preparations for the opening of the clinic. Next, the new district will further take the initiative to serve as a front-line service, wall chart operations, and table according to the map, strengthen the supervision and inspection of the project completion project, effectively do a good job in the supporting supply and element guarantee required for the operation of the hospital, and assist the hospital to optimize the medical equipment procurement process, carry out operation and commissioning, and ensure that the clinic will open on time in October this year.

Liao Bin pointed out that Tianfu Hospital Affiliated to Southwest Medical University is positioned as a university directly affiliated hospital under the direct management of the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, and is a comprehensive public hospital integrating "medical treatment, teaching and scientific research" and built according to the standards of tertiary hospitals. Previously, Meishan Tianfu New Area has always been active and quick to solve the problems that arise during the construction of the project, giving the school full confidence in the whole process of cooperating in running a medical institution.
