The Shenzhen-Shantou Hub is located in the future central area of the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone, with a land area of about 24 hectares and a total scale of about 700,000 square meters, including the construction of railway station buildings, hub supporting and synchronous implementation projects, and comprehensive development projects, with a total investment of about 6.2 billion yuan.
The Shenzhen-Shantou hub brings together Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed railway, intercity railway, bus connection, etc., and will open a "half an hour in Shenzhen" and "40 minutes in Guangzhou" life circle after completion, which is not only a strategic node for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to radiate to the east, but also an important transportation station for the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone to undertake Guangzhou-Shenzhen and radiate to eastern Guangdong, and is also an important transportation support for the development of the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone.
