It is reported that the village is located in Chenyang Town, Chenxi County, located on the bank of the Yuanshui River, with a total population of more than 1,300 people, and the village still retains many ancient residential buildings in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is a famous historical and cultural village in Hunan Province.

In the past three years, in order to improve the living environment, the village has been guided by "party building + N", at the beginning of the village party members and cadres used practical actions to promote the renovation of the human settlements environment, and played their own benchmarking and leading role, and later the villagers also spontaneously joined the environmental sanitation remediation team, consciously cleaned up the front and back yards of the house, improved the living environment, and jointly promoted the renovation of the human settlements. Garbage, sundries, and agricultural production wastes such as pots, ditches, and rivers have been reasonably planned and designed to create small gardens and vegetable gardens, and the overall appearance of the village has been improved. Up to now, more than 3,000 villagers have been mobilized, 20 excavators have been used, and more than 500 tons of various garbage have been cleaned up.
