Since the launch of the "training of 80,000 certified emergency ambulances" project in Shanghai in 2024, the District Red Cross Society has attached great importance to it, and has set up 37 teachers at the municipal and district levels to set up a special Red Cross emergency ambulance training team to comprehensively carry out Red Cross ambulance training in institutions, enterprises, communities, schools, commercial buildings, etc., covering education, cultural tourism, science and technology, high-risk construction, elderly care and other industries. So far, more than 2,000 junior ambulance workers have been trained in Hongkou District.

In the next step, the District Red Cross Society will strictly follow the four unified training requirements of the Red Cross Society of China of "unified syllabus, unified technical standards, unified assessment standards, and unified certification management" and the training requirements of the Municipal Red Cross Society's practical projects, and continue to unite all departments and units in the district, cooperate with the Red Cross Society and training bases in each street, and carry out the "Six Advances in Emergency Ambulance Training Activities", so as to complete the annual target of 2,100 certified emergency ambulance personnel in advance, exceed, and ensure quality and quantity, and continuously expand the popularity of first aid training.
