Day 45 This passage cured me of my laziness

One ordinary afternoon, I was lying on the couch as usual, scrolling through my phone, but my heart was empty.

This lazy life has been going on for a long time, repeating the monotonous rhythm of eating, sleeping, and playing with mobile phones every day.

I know it's not the way to go, but I can't take the first step to change.

Day 45 This passage cured me of my laziness

Until that day, I saw a passage that shook my heart like a thunderbolt from the blue:

"If you can't learn, you can't have fun, you can't sleep, and you're not happy! Something is wrong in the depths, but the appetite is strong. Without a solid foundation, they are always hesitant and eager to excel, but it is difficult to be down-to-earth. When you see others being diligent, you are restless, and when you act on your own, you always talk about tomorrow. You know, the only thing you can fight against fate is the few chips you have, and that's all you have left is hard work. I'm afraid that you are not willing to fall. But he doesn't want to forge ahead. He hated his procrastination and indulged in the comfort in front of him. ”

This sentence is like a mirror, reflecting my inner struggles and contradictions.

I realized that I couldn't go on like this, I needed to change, I needed to work hard!

I started trying to start small, copying an entire book, The World Without Complaining.

Set yourself a small goal every day, copy at least two pages a day, and if you have time, copy a few more pages and work hard to complete it.

At first, it wasn't easy, and I always couldn't help but want to give up and go back to that state of idleness.

But I told myself, no, I have to change myself and take responsibility for my life!

Slowly, I began to feel the joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from hard work.

I am no longer afraid of difficulties and challenges because I know that only through continuous hard work and experimentation can I become a better version of myself.

Day 45 This passage cured me of my laziness

Nowadays, I am no longer the idleness I used to be, I am studying and exercising hard every day, and I enjoy this full and meaningful life.

I know that there is still a long way to go, but I am ready to meet every challenge with my efforts.

Looking back, I am deeply grateful for that passage because it made me realize my shortcomings and found my way forward.

I will cherish this hard-won change, continue to work hard, and keep moving forward.
