On June 28, the Leapmotor C16, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, was officially launched. The new model is available in two power versions, extended range and pure electric, with a total of six models, priced at 155,800-185,800 yuan.
The Leapmotor C16 is based on the LEAP 3.0 technical architecture and adopts the latest family design language similar to that of the Leapmotor C10. At the front, the closed grille and continuous headlight clusters create a strong sense of identity, while the raised rib line design on the hood and the blackened lower grille at the bottom and its front bumper package give it a sportier look. At the same time, the new car is also available in six exterior colors: Starlight Silver, Star Purple, Sky Gray, Pearl White, Metallic Black and Liuli Emerald.
The length, width and height of the Leap C16 are 4915/1905/1770mm, and the wheelbase is 2825mm. The car is equipped with a 14.6-inch central control screen and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, and has a built-in 8295 chip. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with a 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen, 21-speaker audio, 360-degree panoramic view, and wireless fast charging.
Leapmotor C16 adopts a six-seat layout of 2+2+2, with an internal space utilization rate of 67.2%, the second-row seats adopt an independent layout, and are equipped with a small table board behind the co-driver, while supporting heating and ventilation functions, and the second-row seats have a one-key forward/backward function, which can quickly switch between the second/third row mode.
In terms of intelligent driving, Leapmotor C16 is equipped with 30 high-precision perception hardware fused with 128-thread lidar, which has L3 level of intelligent driving in terms of hardware capabilities, and can realize 25 intelligent driving assistance functions including NAP high-speed intelligent navigation assistance and NAC navigation assistance cruise.
In terms of power, Leapmotor C16 provides two power options: extended range and pure electric, of which the extended range version is equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder engine, WLTC low charge fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only 6.19L, the maximum power of the motor is 170kW, and it is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 28.4kWh, with a CLTC pure electric range of 200km and a CLTC comprehensive range of 1095km; The EV model is equipped with a full-range 800V high-voltage platform as standard, equipped with a 215kW drive motor, equipped with a 67.7kWh battery pack, and has a CLTC pure electric range of 520km.
