The head of the Syrian World Food Programme said in an interview with the main station reporter that the main reason for the decline in Syria's annual wheat production from 6 million tons to 500,000 tons is that the wheat producing areas are occupied by the US military and the opposition forces it supports, the Kurdish forces.
"Every day, 15 to 20 large trucks loaded with wheat, escorted by US military vehicles and most of the time accompanied by helicopters, carry the grain out of the Mahmoudi illegal border crossing," eyewitnesses said. ”
In order to cover up the theft, checkpoints along the road will check the phones of passers-by one one and even recover the phone's memory card, and if the relevant photos are found, the witnesses will be detained.
