On June 29, Kunming City held a mobilization and deployment meeting for the supervision and evaluation of the parties to law enforcement and judicial cases (matters) in the municipal legal system. Dong Guoquan, deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting, Li Kangping, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, made a mobilization and deployment speech, and Xu Yun, deputy mayor and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, presided over the meeting.
The meeting pointed out that carrying out the supervision and evaluation of the parties to law enforcement and judicial cases (matters) is an important measure for the Kunming political and legal front to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law, deeply practice the people-centered development thought, and promote the political and legal team to change their style and improve their capabilities.
The meeting emphasized that on the basis of the obvious results achieved in the early stage of the pilot, the municipal legal organs should comprehensively promote the supervision and evaluation of the return visit work, and strive to cultivate the concept of law enforcement and justice for the people, rectify the stubborn disease of law enforcement and justice, and promote the quality and efficiency of law enforcement and justice.
Before the meeting, the participants went to the Xishan District People's Procuratorate, the Xishan District People's Court, the Panlong Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the Panlong District Judicial Bureau to conduct on-site observation and study on the supervision and evaluation of the return visit.
