The Shenzhong Corridor has the world's longest and widest submarine steel-shell concrete tunnel, with a total length of 6.8 kilometers. To ensure driving safety in such a long undersea tunnel, of course, it is inseparable from the "black technology" in the tunnel - intelligent lighting system.
The lighting intelligent controller in the tunnel can automatically control and adjust the brightness of the light according to the detected light inside and outside the tunnel, color temperature data, traffic volume changes, day and night, etc.
On both sides of the tunnel, there are intelligently adjustable full-color landscape light strips. It can change the light color according to the ambient temperature and traffic flow conditions, or display different light colors in segments, reduce the monotony during driving, and create a novel and comfortable tunnel light environment.
A "mission must be achieved" inspection robot
Another "magic weapon" to ensure safety in the tunnel is this group of intelligent inspection robots that are constantly busy at the top of the tunnel.
There are a total of 14 intelligent inspection robots in the 6.8-kilometer tunnel, and there is an average of one per kilometer in the southbound and northbound tunnels.
These inspection robots are not only responsible for the daily inspection of the tunnel traffic environment and mechanical and electrical equipment, but also can arrive at the scene within 125 seconds in case of emergency.
The "secret weapon" of the Shenzhong Bridge against wind
The bridge deck of Shenzhong Bridge is 91m away from the sea level, which is currently the world's largest span and the highest bridge deck of the all-offshore suspension bridge. In the center of the bridge deck, a glass wall is hidden. They look like ordinary pieces of tempered glass, but they are the "secret weapon" of the Shenzhong Bridge to resist the wind.
The main girder of the bridge is optimized by adopting the comprehensive pneumatic measures of "horizontal deflector + upper central stabilizer plate + high air permeability railing" to minimize the risk of flutter and vortex vibration of the bridge.
Full 5G coverage! The signal of the whole line of the deep and medium channel is full
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor not only realizes the connection of bridges, islands, tunnels and underwater interconnection, but also achieves full coverage of 5G signals. Driving through it, not only can you navigate in real time, but you can also maintain communication at any time, even in the nearly 40-meter-deep undersea tunnel, you can surf the Internet with "5G".
Communication equipment connectors, trunking, etc. are reserved in advance in the tunnel corridor, and about 60,000 meters of leakage cables and other equipment supporting 5G frequency bands are deployed in the tunnel to achieve seamless signal coverage.
There are small white boxes hanging on the lamp poles of the Shenzhong Bridge, which are 5G base stations. There are a total of 73 base stations in the entire bridge section, including the east and west artificial islands, with an average of less than 300 meters.

The toll from the east artificial island (starting point) to the west artificial island is 37 yuan/standard train
The toll standard for the interconnection between the West Artificial Island and the Wanqingsha Hub is 23 yuan/standard train
The charging standard from Wanqingsha hub to Hengmen interchange (end point) is 6 yuan/standard train

Synchronous activation
At the same time as the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, two cross-city bus lines were opened simultaneously, and for the first time, direct bus access was realized between Shenzhen and Zhongshan.
The whole distance of the "Expo Center - Qianhaiwan Metro Station" line is about 60 kilometers, the journey is about 1 hour, and the ticket price is 18 yuan.
The whole distance of the "Cuiheng New District-Qianhaiwan Metro Station" line is about 45 kilometers, the estimated journey time is about 45 minutes, and the ticket price is 15 yuan.
In addition to the direct cross-city buses, the bridge deck shuttle bus of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage has also been opened simultaneously.
A new 30,000-square-meter Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor Tourism Distribution Center has been set up near the entrance and exit of Cuiheng East of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor. As the distribution station of the Zhongshan end of the bridge deck shuttle bus, it implements 24-hour uninterrupted shuttle between it and Shenzhen Airport Passenger Station.
The first batch of 20 shuttle buses will operate for a distance of about 26 kilometers and a journey of about 20 minutes.
Shenzhen-Zhongshan Airport opened!
It is convenient for Zhongshan residents to travel by air
At the same time as the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, the Zhongshan Airport of Shenzhen Airport was also opened simultaneously. Shenzhen-Zhongshan Airport is located in Zhongshan Expo Center, with an area of about 1,100 square meters.
The airport provides passengers with services such as inquiry, ticket purchase, check-in, baggage hanging, and leisure waiting. The operating hours of the airport match the flight operating hours of Shenzhen Airport.
The bus express line between Shenzhen-Zhongshan Airport and Shenzhen Airport was opened, with 72 round-trip trips per day. Take the express line to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport by Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, which takes about 50 minutes.
