In 1986, Mr. Suo Shixian, then a librarian at the Huaiyin County Library, used his early winter lunch break to transcribe the "Three Character Classic" for me.
Suo Shixian (1940~2020) was a native of Suozhuang, Wangdu Village, West Song Town, Huaiyin District.
Suo's love of literature and art since childhood, graduated from Huaiyin Opera School in his early years, and studied under Mr. Wen Shiqi; After graduation, he was assigned to the Hongqi Huaihai Troupe. During the Cultural Revolution, the troupe was disbanded, and Mr. was transferred to the head of the Cultural Station of the Western Song Ji Commune, and later transferred to the Huaiyin County Cultural Center, and worked in the collection and editing room of the county library before his retirement.
Mr. is a keen calligrapher, cigarette and alcohol, and he swallows clouds and smokes every day. With a good heart, there is also a gain. Especially after drinking, splashing ink, good products emerge one after another.
In the mid-80s of the last century, he participated in the preparation for the establishment of the Huaiyin County Calligraphy Association and was elected as the vice chairman.
Skimming horizontally and vertically, folding and hooking, raising his hand and writing down the words between the pen and a hundred turns. The Si people are gone, but the ink treasure lasts forever!
