On June 18, the Tea Art (Jiangnan Literati Tea) Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum was opened, and the municipal intangible cultural heritage tea art project (Jiangnan Literati Tea) was officially launched here. The Tea Art (Jiangnan Literati Tea) Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum "settled" in Zhangyan Park will become an "intangible cultural heritage tea space" integrating cultural exchanges, experiential learning, and leisure tea tasting.

In the Jiangnan Literati Tea Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall, there is a tea art experience area, a cultural display wall, a tea tasting rest area, and a cultural and creative exhibition area, where visitors can immerse themselves in and feel the tea culture.
From the cultural display wall, you can learn about the historical development of tea culture such as sencha in the Tang Dynasty, tea in the Song Dynasty, tea in the Ming Dynasty, gongfu tea in the Qing Dynasty, and Jiangnan literati tea.
In the tea art experience classroom, each tea table is neatly placed with the tea utensils needed to order tea in the Song Dynasty. According to Zhao Zhenglong, the intangible inheritor of Jiangnan literati tea, the Song Dynasty tea was to grind the group tea into fine powder, put it into the tea cup, and then measure the tea into the soup, and use the tea whisk to blow it while injecting, so that the tea tasting process became more interesting and full of tricks.
Tea, tea, warm cups, tea, soup, tea...... The whole process is elegant, showing the style of a literati in the flowing water. Friends who are interested in tea culture can come here to experience, feel the style of tea people, and enjoy the fun of making tea.

It is reported that the tea culture has been passed down in China for thousands of years, and as a municipal intangible cultural heritage project of Jiangnan literati tea, is a kind of tea drinking custom of literati in the Jiangnan area, its process is complex and delicate, originated in the Tang and Song dynasties, inherited and carried forward in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and has now become a daily process of making tea and drinking tea in the lives of citizens.
The intangible cultural heritage tea art integrates the essence of the techniques of the sencha method, the tea ordering method, the tea method and the gongfu tea method, and absorbs the characteristics of the tea culture of various dynasties, so that the tea skills have been greatly integrated. At the same time, it also created the "six styles and eighteen methods of tea skills", and successively had more than 20 operating processes such as standing, sitting, walking, tea ceremony, cloth, opening ceremony, closing ceremony, round hand, origin, retrograde, sticky finger, Xuan bowl, sinking elbow, hanging shoulder, and foot, warm ware, tea appreciation, tea entry, tea running, Jintian, tea ceremony, collection, tea thanks, etc., which improved the method of tea and pushed the tea custom to a new height.
Zhao Zhenglong introduced that the core idea of "Jiangnan literati walking tea" is "knowledge and respect", which is also a learning method for tea art. "Knowledge" is the basis of tea, "respect" is the heart of tea, and "action" is the practice of tea. "At present, the teaching of intangible cultural heritage tea culture courses is divided into two target groups: adults and teenagers, and we have edited textbooks such as "Tea Art and Self-cultivation", "Youth Tea Science Grade Assessment 1-12 Star Examination", "Zhijingxing Teaching Method", "Tea Party Activity Organization Design" and other textbooks, aiming to standardize the intangible cultural heritage curriculum."
The "settlement" of the intangible cultural heritage tea art project in Zhangyan not only coincides with the positioning of Zhangyan as a "famous historical and cultural town", but also further excavates and inherits the cultural resources of the ancient town. Zhao Zhenglong said that Zhangyan has a profound cultural heritage, and it is said that it is the place where Zhang Liang retreated in the Western Han Dynasty, attracting many literati and celebrities to make tea, mention ink and chant poems, and tea culture is naturally associated with Zhangyan.
Zhao Zhenglong himself is also a native of Zhangyan, left Zhangyan at the age of 18, and returned to his hometown after 30 years. "In the past, there were not many locals in Shanghai who did this business, in the 90s, I went to Fujian to serve as a soldier, and I came into contact with tea at the home of my comrades-in-arms, and I liked it for a lifetime", Zhao Zhenglong was very emotional, "It is not easy for a person to do one thing well in his life." ”
In 2024, Tea Art (Jiangnan Wenrenxing Tea) was selected into the seventh batch of representative items of Shanghai's intangible cultural heritage.
Next, the Tea Art (Jiangnan Literati Tea) Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum will take tea culture as the carrier, in addition to leisure tea tasting, it will also actively carry out tea culture training and various intangible cultural heritage experience activities to attract children, students and citizens to participate in learning, so that the traditional tea culture, Jinshan intangible cultural heritage and Zhangyan history and humanities can go out and come alive, so as to realize the mutual integration of the development of the intangible cultural heritage museum and the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
