On the morning of June 29, the award ceremony of the 4th International Chinese Language Festival was held at ISA International School in Guangzhou Science City. The purpose of the ceremony is to recognize individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to the development and inheritance of Chinese culture, and to further promote the international exchange and dissemination of Chinese culture. At the same time, the International Chinese Language Festival Association authorized Avenues School Shenzhen Nanshan to host the 5th Chinese Language Festival worldwide.

There are eight awards in this award ceremony, including: Champion Award (four individual champions in each age group), Chinese Festival Ambassador (selected from the champions), Group Champion Award, Outstanding Instructor Award, Best/Outstanding Organization Award, Champion Award of Teacher Ability Competition, Outstanding Volunteer Award and Outstanding Jury Award.

In the 4th International Chinese Language Festival, more than 3,000 Chinese learners aged 4-24 from more than 200 schools in 21 countries and regions participated in the competition. The competition includes two tracks, native and non-native, and is divided into 7 age groups, and the participants fully demonstrate their Chinese ability in more than 80 exciting competitions in 12 categories, fully demonstrating their love and pursuit of Chinese language and culture.

After fierce competition, 438 contestants stood out and became individual champions, 16 won the champion of the competition, 60 teachers won the excellent guidance award, 14 volunteers became outstanding volunteers, 12 won the championship of the teacher ability competition, 12 teams won the group crown, 10 judges won the honor of excellent judges, and 12 schools won the best/excellent organization award.

Prime Minister Zhang Huiling of the Heritage Fund presented awards to the champions of the Teacher Ability Competition.

Award-winning students and faculty representatives took the stage to share their experiences. Among them, Wu Langqiao, the "champion" of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan competition and the champion from La Salle Primary School in Hong Kong, shared the experience of participating in the International Chinese Language Festival several times since 2020: although he experienced difficulties during the period, he finally achieved good results in the competition with firm faith. In addition, Song Qingci, an 8th grade student from ISA International School in Guangzhou Science City, was honored as the "International Chinese Festival Ambassador".

Wu Langqiao, the champion of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan competition and a student of La Salle Primary School, shared his feelings about winning the award.

According to reports, the conference organized a total of 120 professional judges to score to ensure the fairness and justice of the competition. In addition, 120 college student volunteers contributed to the six-month competition, and some outstanding college student volunteers also participated in the teaching activities of the "Chinese Workshop Public Welfare Course", providing a series of Chinese culture and language learning experience courses for primary and secondary school students on campus or online. In addition, the organizing committee also organized 21 public lectures and published the second academic journal "International Chinese Teaching and Research", making positive contributions to promoting international Chinese language education.
