On June 27th, the "Ingenuity and Colorful Chapter" Gansu Huachi Folk Art Works Invitational Exhibition was held at the Beichen District Art Museum.
Walking into the exhibition site, you can see red auspicious paper-cuts, lifelike cloth stickers, embroidery embroidered with heart, and carefully drawn folk paintings...... Different kinds of artworks are interpreting the heritage of the land of Huachi County, Gansu Province in a simple and childish style, and each work is a folk tale, which is full of the Huachi people's yearning for a better life.
According to reports, Huachi County, Gansu Province is the seat of the Nanliang Government, the first Soviet power in the northwest of Shaanxi, Gansu and Gansu, and is the thickest loess layer in the world, and China's first paleolithic tools were unearthed here, which provides fertile soil and abundant sources for the creation of folk art. The exhibition is sponsored by the Beichen District Cultural Center and the Huachi County Cultural Center, and jointly organized by the Beichen District Art Museum and Huachi Nanlianghong Culture Media Co., Ltd. It aims to deepen east-west cooperation and support cooperation, deepen exchanges and integration among various ethnic groups, and help the twinning areas consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
