According to Zhang Hua, executive deputy commander of the Chenglan Railway Engineering Headquarters of China Railway Eighth Bureau, China Railway Eighth Bureau undertook the track-laying project of Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan section of Sichuan-Qingdao Railway, from Zhenjiangguan at an altitude of 2503 meters to Huangshengguan at an altitude of 3200 meters, with a maximum ramp of 17.8‰ on the line, the section is located on a plateau and high altitude section, with harsh climatic conditions, thin air, large temperature difference between day and night, frequent strong convective weather, frequent rain and snow, etc., which have a huge impact on construction operations and engineering road material transportation.
At the same time, there are many people in the long tunnel in this section, the working space in the tunnel is narrow and long, and the operating environment is poor, which brings great challenges to the work of tunnel communication, ventilation, harmful gas detection, and long ramp transportation. The project department formulates special emergency plans in advance, organizes safety education and training, regularly conducts risk research and judgment such as locomotive and vehicle escape, lack of oxygen in the tunnel, and configures gas detectors, protective equipment and emergency rescue materials.
The 500m long track laying of the Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan section of the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway adopts the combination of "straight paving method" and "replacement paving method" to organize the construction, the ballastless track bed adopts the "straight paving method" construction, and the ballasted track adopts the "replacement paving method" construction, and the tool rail is used to pave the right line, as the main line of engineering road material transportation, and at the same time takes into account the left line track laying, long rail welding locking and large machine tamping interspersed construction operations.
In order to ensure the safe and orderly progress of track laying from Zhenjiang Pass to Huangshengguan, China Railway Eighth Bureau has equipped more than 80 sets (vehicles) of large-scale equipment such as HXN5 plateau high-power diesel locomotive, DF4 diesel locomotive, K922 flash welding machine, DWL-48 line machine, CD-16 turnout machine, etc. During the period, the project department carefully organized and reasonably allocated resources, and completed the laying of 100 kilometers of long rails in only 5 days, and the welding and release locking of 100 kilometers of seamless line units in 12 days.
According to Li Qun, commander of the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway Headquarters of Chenglan Railway Company, before laying the track, the builders of the 16th Bureau of China Railway carried out the construction of the ballastless track in the Desheng Tunnel, in order to ensure the efficient progress of the on-site construction and the success of the first time, during the construction process, the project department strengthened the fine adjustment and precision measurement of the ballastless track, collected the measurement data by sleeper, and tracked the whole process of the experimenter, so as to effectively improve the construction quality and efficiency while ensuring safe production, and finally realize the completion of the ballastless track construction on schedule.
At the same time, the track-laying section is adjacent to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Munigou and other nature reserves and water source protection areas, the project department of China Railway Eighth Bureau strictly formulates and implements environmental water protection measures, and configures a sewage treatment system in the rail pomp yard to ensure zero discharge of construction wastewater, and adopts the method of carrying and classifying the domestic garbage of the track-laying operation class, so as to practice the construction concept of green environmental protection with practical actions. It is reported that this section of the railway is planned to be completed and opened to traffic within the year, and it will only take 3 hours from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.

The Sichuan-Qingdao Railway starts from Chengdu East Railway Station, passes through Chengdu City, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, Haidong City, Xining City, and connects to Xining Station, with a total length of about 836 kilometers and a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The track-laying completed the section from Zhenjiang Pass to Huangshengguan. The total length of the line is about 148.458 kilometers, with 133.96 kilometers of tracks laid on the main line, 14.498 kilometers of track laying on the station line, and 67 sets of turnouts.
The section from Zhenjiangguan to Huangshengguan of the Sichuan-Qingdao Railway is a part of the mainland's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, and the road network from Lanzhou and Xining to Guangzhou is very important, and after the line is put into operation, it will greatly facilitate the travel of the people of all ethnic groups along the line, and is of great significance for promoting economic and social development along the line, maintaining national unity, and serving the large-scale development of the western region to form a new pattern
