To this end, the State Grid Shanghai Jiading Power Supply Co., Ltd. actively applies new technologies to carry out adaptive transformation of power infrastructure in such communities, and pilots multi-access point busbar boxes and new small branch boxes in Shanghai for the first time to improve the convenience and safety of access to electric vehicle charging facilities.
On June 28, in the underground garage power distribution room of Shanggli Garden Community in Oasis, Xuhang Town, the staff renovated the charging pile meter.
It is understood that about 35% of the vehicles parked in the basement of the community are new energy vehicles. Due to the implementation of the policy of "one vehicle, one pile, one meter" for the new installation of residents' self-built pile meters, a large number of independent single-phase meter boxes have been installed in the distribution room, which makes it difficult for the new metering boxes to gain a foothold.
"With the increase in the number of meter access, the power access points are becoming more and more insufficient, and the problem of power distribution equipment in the old community and the new community is becoming more and more prominent." Lu Wei, director of the power supply service command center of State Grid Shanghai Jiading Power Supply Company, said that the multi-access point busbar box they applied this time can load 36 access points of single-phase meter boxes at the same time, "It is like a 'storage division', integrating the original many and messy charging pile meters into a unified interface, and the original redundant wiring lines have been sorted out clearly and neatly, saving space while power supply conditions and fire safety have been significantly optimized." ”
In recent years, domestic new energy vehicle sales have continued to maintain a strong momentum, with sales reaching 856,000 units in May this year, a year-on-year increase of 40.8%, and applications for residents' self-built charging pile meters are also growing. Considering that the number of new energy vehicles will continue to rise in the future, Jiading Power Supply Company also uses miniaturized 1 in and 3 out branch boxes to control and distribute the current of each meter box, so as to reserve sufficient space and capacity for subsequent business expansion applications. "The volume of the traditional branch box is about equal to a single-door refrigerator, and now the miniaturized 1 in and 3 out branch boxes are as large as only one drawer, which ensures that the volume is small enough to make the originally tight underground power distribution room play a greater role." Lu Wei introduced.
As of the end of June, Jiading Power Supply Company has carried out a survey of 661 distribution rooms with high-frequency access to charging pile meters in its jurisdiction, and will pilot the transformation of more than 30 of them in the near future, laying a solid foundation for building a high-quality charging infrastructure system.
