For the first time, a special project for the chairman of the board was set up to investigate the Japanese Dialysis Medicine Association's members and Shi Zhi members. Curated the "Hear That Teacher Directly!" series" activities. During the conference, we discussed the latest technologies and academic technologies in dialysis clinical practice under the theme of "Advanced Kidney Replacement Therapy ~Aiming for Next-Generation Interprofessional Academism~". Many of the venues were full, and the participants listened carefully, studied carefully, and collected the latest information on dialysis medicine and medicine.

The president of the conference was Mr. Ken Sakai, Professor of Kidney Studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Toho.

Overview of the 69th Annual Meeting of the Dialysis Medical Society of Japan

In his speech, Mr. Ken Sakai, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that since 2017, the number of dialysis patients with kidney failure has decreased significantly, and since 2020, the increase in the total number of chronic dialysis patients has almost stagnated. On the other hand, the prevalence of dialysis patients per million population is increasing year by year, and in 2021, 1 in 358.9 people in the population was a dialysis patient. Under these circumstances, the tremendous dedication and efforts of dialysis medical workers in Japan have resulted in an excellent patient survival rate and a high quality of life.

At the time of the epidemic of the new coronavirus infection, the joint efforts of the multi-disciplinary medical team members at the forefront of dialysis medicine were able to treat dialysis patients infected by the new coronavirus, and the strength of multi-professional team medical care was highly regarded in the world.

The theme of this academic conference and conference is "Forward! Renal replacement therapy "– targeting the next generation of interprofessional academism" Through home dialysis, facility dialysis, and kidney transplantation, the medical team should become the main force of renal replacement medicine, providing comfortable medical support for patients with kidney disease throughout their life.

Since the success of Dr. Colve's hemodialysis device in 1945, dialysis medicine has been established as one of the most epoch-making treatments of the century as a treatment to save people suffering from kidney failure. The important task now and in the future is to achieve a healthy life through continuous progress, treatment of various complications and improvement of quality of life.

With the advent of Japan, the world's largest aging society, dialysis medicine is also facing new challenges. In the future, we will also make every effort to popularize dialysis medicine in the medical field through scientific research and high-quality multi-disciplinary medical care. Preventing and delaying the progression of CKD, renal replacement therapy will continue, and it is necessary to build better lifelong health care for kidney disease.

The conference revolved around the theme of "Forward! Extensive academic exchanges have been conducted on the topic of "Renal Replacement Therapy: Aiming for the Next Generation of Interprofessional Academism". In order to facilitate more in-depth exchanges, the conference has set up special lectures, educational lectures, various seminars and workshops, international exchange and lecture posters, etc.

Among them, invited speeches: 6; Special Lectures: 7; President's invitation: 15; Educational Lectures: 32; President's Speech: 1; Joint seminars: 46 Thematic seminars: 140; Special lectures: 115; Japan-Korea Exchange Meeting: 5 articles; International exchanges: 23 papers; Lecture series: 30 papers; Lectures on academic and corporate cooperation: 35 papers, etc.

Overview of the 69th Annual Meeting of the Dialysis Medical Society of Japan

Since its establishment in March 2011, our company has established a good Sino-Japanese blood purification technology exchange cooperative relationship with the Japanese Dialysis-related Society, Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and other hospitals in Japan, as well as some medical doctors and professional enterprises. This time, with the assistance of the Japan Clinical Engineering International Promotion Framework, two academic exchange groups were organized to visit Japan, and they visited Yokohama Daiichi Hospital, Mitsuhashi Meisei Kai Hospital, and Tsudanuma Vascular Surgery Hospital. During a visit to Yokohama Daiichi Hospital, I was also fortunate to observe a PTA operation.

Through this participation and hospital visits, the members further learned about some cutting-edge technologies of blood purification medicine in Japan, witnessed the advanced management of dialysis system in Japan, and felt the humanistic care for patients with kidney disease, especially for the elderly, with the patient-centered service concept of dialysis medicine...... The interviewers were deeply touched to mention that many details of dialysis facilities in Japan are worthy of our reference and consideration. ”
